Saving Addison White (A famous Harry Styles fanfiction)
Chapter Thirty-Six: Love Me Like You Do
"Addison!" Louis exclaimed over the phone, I was sitting in the middle of a cafe in a small town just outside Paris. "Where the hell have you been love? You kinda just vanished from the face of the earth."
Louis wasn't lying, I did vanish. It was for the best, it was a new year, I had a new movie out which was doing exceptionally well in box office and I was getting a lot of public attention over it which I wasn't so ecstatic about -- it was only fair I took a break and France was the perfect place to do that. I'd also changed my hair colour, gotten a little apartment and I was enjoying life living on the down low without screaming fans and the paparazzi.
"Well I've been in hiding," I said playfully, chuckling at the end. "Missing me already?"
"Yeah, a little, is this your new number?"
"You're not allowed to tell a soul about this Lou, I trust you," I said, my voice stern as I warned my favourite englishmen. "I've been living in Paris for the past couple of weeks, it's been very -"
"You're in Paris?" he cut me off and I couldn't help but laugh at how excited he sounded. "Oh my God, Addison, that's amazing!"
"It is?"
He laughed. Louis was weird that way, I could've asked what he was laughing at but I also didn't want to. It had been months since the video had come out, filming it was one of the best decisions I'd made in a whole, people were so supportive about it all and for once my mother was happy about it.
"So, Addison..." Louis said in his mischief filled voice. "When are you visiting us?"
"Uhm..."
"Don't say never," he warned. "We're having a party, it's like a 'we're going on tour' party and we're allowed to invite close friends and family and since you're like my best friend..." he sighs. "I'm inviting you."
"I don't think I'll come but thank you for the invite," I said.
"Why not?"
"Lou -"
"If you say Harry I'll be upset with you. Look, love, I know you don't want to see him and -"
"His new model girlfriend, Nadine's going to be there!" I added quickly. "Look, I just don't think I'm ready to see him just yet."
"Uh, not good enough. So, I'll see you in a week?"
"I don't have much of a choice now do I?" I questioned, chuckling at the end. "I just hope you're right about this Lou, I don't wanna be the idiot girl who embarrassed herself by -"
"Oh my God, Addison!" Louis laughed so hard I had to move the phone from my ear. "You talk too much. You're not going to embarrass yourself. Okay?"
"Okay." A week later I found myself arriving at the Heathrow hotel, I was with some security because some fans had discovered through some loud mouth that I'd changed my hair colour. I didn't want to be mean to the fans of course so I didn't pose for some pictures but as the crowd grew, security didn't want me getting injured therefore I had to move through the airport quickly without getting hurt.
The car went straight to Louis' house and dropped me off, I was super jetlagged but I'd also promised to see him the second I landed and I liked keeping my promises. I got out of the car and headed up the small flight of stairs, I was feeling a mixture of emotions, from excited to nervous in case he didn't like the new hair -- I don't know why but I seemed to care what he thought of me. He was my good friend after all. I knocked a couple of times and soon after the door opened revealing a shocked looking Louis.
"Why do you look like you've just seen a ghost?" I couldn't help but sound a little frightened. "Is everything okay?"
"Hey, how are you?" he opened the door wider for me to come in. "Why didn't you text me?"
"Uhm because you knew my flight was landing at five and your place is about half an hour from the airport," I chuckled. "What's up with you To -"
"Hey Lou, have you seen the uh... Addie?" It was Harry looking very, very attractive in a white shirt that fit loosely and his famous skinny jeans and that gorgeous hair of his let down and away from his face. "I uh..." he stuttered. "Hi."
"Did I interrupt anything?" I asked turning to Louis. "I can come back la -"
"No, don't worry!" Louis grinned. "I was heading out to get some take outs when Harry came over. I'm getting fish and chips, is that okay with you love?"
I turned to look at Harry, still unable to believe that he was standing in that room at that moment. "Yeah, fish and chips will be just fine..."
Louis walked out but I didn't even notice that but finally I snapped out of the trance. Right, Harry was standing in the middle of the Louis' foyer looking very attractive but he was also taken and I couldn't do anything about it.
"Hi," I said awkwardly. "I'm sorry if I interrupted any -"
"No, it's my fault, Louis did mention something about having a guest over. I just wanted to ask him something and I was just about to leave anyway so..."
"No," I blurted out, catching myself by surprise. "Don't... Don't go, he's gone to get food and knowing Louis, he'll be a little upset if you don't stay. Especially if he's already bought the stuff."
Both Harry and I chuckled. "I guess you're right," he mentioned with a shrug. "Want anything to drink?"
"I'll uh have a glass of wine." I smiled and together we made our way into the kitchen. He poured me the red liquid into a big glass and together we made our way to the living room, I got comfortable on the carpeted floor as I went through Louis' CD collection. "I think we need music..." I turned to look at Harry and found that he was gazing at me with an intense expression on his face. I couldn't help but flush. I turned to the player and put the 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack CD into the player. "50 Shades of Grey?"
Harry chuckled. "Apparently it belongs to Eleanor."
"Right." I got onto my feet and walked to Harry holding my hand out to him, the few sips of alcohol had given me extra confidence and a little dance wasn't going to hurt anyone. "Just one..." I spoke softly. "For old times sake." And just then Ellie Goulding's Love Me Like You Do started playing softly in the background.
Harry took my hand and rose from the couch. Together, we started moving to the beat of the music. Our bodies touching, my forehead pressed up against his and we were both looking into each other's eyes. It felt good being in his arms again, where I belonged instead of... Her. I was starting to feel something for him as he spun me around the room.
"Wow, dance lessons?" I teased. "Your dancing improved since the last time..."
"You're a terrible person," he answered, he pulled me in and our bodies crashed together, chests heaving and lips slightly parted. "I'm going to kiss you..."
"And I'm not going to pull away," I spoke so softly, I was surprised he heard what I said. Slowly, our lips came together and all these feeling started erupting on the inside. Harry grabbed my ponytail and tugged it gently causing a soft moan to escape my lips.
I bit hard on my lower lip as Harry sucked on the delicate skin on my neck, shutting my eyes tightly. A tear rolled down my cheek and too caught up in the moment, I didn't wipe it away. I didn't want to be kissing Harry. Especially knowing that he had someone special in his moment. I still helped him slip out of his shirt, I left a trail of kisses down his torso and I still unzipped his jean zip. I felt so dirty but Harry and I were finally connected on so many levels, it was a moment I wasn't going to forget anytime soon.
