Chapter Five: The Excuse
I had to come up with an excuse to get out of there, so I said, “I have to go to the bathroom.” As I walked out, Niall followed me and said, “Where are you going?” “Out to clear my head.” “Do you need a hug? I give great hugs.” “Sure, I’ll take a hug.” As he hugged me, Gracie and the boys came out of the room and saw us hugging. Louis’ reaction was just as I expected, “Niall, are you hugging your girlfriend?” He gave me a grin, “Louis, I was not hugging my girlfriend. She told me she wanted a hug.” Gracie looked at me in awe. Without any warning, she ran over to Zayn and gave him a giant hug. Harry said, “I think we know who your favorites are.” Not wanting them to be left out, I hugged Louis, Harry, and Zayn in a group hug. Niall motioned to me to come over to him, so I did. He whispered in my ear, “Can I have your number?” I was shocked, so I didn’t say anything. I wrote it down on a piece of paper and gave it to him. Niall smiled. It was the first time any boy has asked for my number.
Niall's POV
As the boys and I walked to the trailer, they asked me, “Dude, what is going on? You are falling for a fangirl?" "Well what if I am? It's not like Modest! will kill me." I shot back. If the boys kept this up I was going to go insane. As I settled in my bunk, Zayn whispered to me, "I actually like Gracie a little bit so I get it." Except nobody got it. I was 20 and she was 17. It would never work out. "Zayn, thanks but we're not even the same age. How will it work out?" "Well, Gracie is 15 and I still like her. What's wrong with that?" I started to scream, "You are dating Perrie. What would she think if a certain someone told her about this, huh?" He just stared at me and the boys were anticipating a fight. "Niall." Harry said. "Calm down. You like her ok? You don't have to marry her. You can just be friends."
