Impossible (It Can't Be)

Even from the beginning, I knew that no matter how hard I tried 1d would never know me. I had a nice life with my friends at school. I go to Wauwatosa East High school and I’m 17 in my Senior year. I have a real life crush, but it seems like she doesn’t even care about me. Her name is Kaesy. In middle school, we were best friends, but now is different. As I watched her pick a seat right next to mine, I got butterflies. ‘Maybe she wants to be friends again.’ I try to say ‘hi’ but I can barely manage that much. “Hello Kasey,” is all I can say. She looks at me with those gorgeous brown eyes and says, “Hey Alena. Look at that. We’re lab partners.” ‘Lab partners? Great, I have to spend the year next to the girl I have a crush on without her knowing my feelings. It’s going to be a long year.’
After school, my best friend, Gracie and I walked home. We both love One Direction and she got us tickets to go to the concert coming. I was so excited, even though the concert wasn’t until October and it was only September. I daydreamed a lot about it and wanted to meet them. Niall was my favorite and Zayn was Gracie’s. We wanted to meet them, but we knew we would just be faces in the crowd. I was nervous because she was two years younger than me, so I had to drive there, because I just got my drivers license, but I was more worried that I would get lost and make us late. She saw the worry in my eyes and said, “You’re not going to screw this up, I promise. Stop worrying.” “Ok, but will you forgive me if I make us late?” “You won’t, ok? Stop worrying.”
