Merry Christmas, Everyone

*One-Shot* You and Harry are building your first gingerbread house together.

"Harry!! It's gonna fall!" I said as I shoved my boyfriend out of the way. "You're standing right here and you didn't even notice the roof was falling!!" I grabbed the icing bag out of his hands and immediately began piping the white icing along the cookie panels.

"Wow, since when are you an architect?" Harry chuckled as he popped a gumdrop in his mouth.

"Keep eating those and we'll have nothing to decorate with" I glared at Harry over my shoulder, still intently icing the walls together.

"Oh hush, we have more than enough" Harry was right. The kitchen island was scattered with everything imaginable; icings in a multitude of colors, dozens of different sprinkles, any candy you could imagine - you would think we were decorating an entire village. "plus, with me as head decorator, this will be the best gingerbread house anyone has ever seen." He said as continued to pick through the candy on the table.

"Head decorator?"

"Yep." Harry smiled. I couldn't help but smile too because damn, that boy just makes my heart melt. I put finishing bits of icing on the structure of the house, making sure it wouldn't fall.

"Alright head decorator, the house is ready for you."

We spent the next two hours meticulously decorating our gingerbread house, making sure every square inch was covered. I carefully lined the walkway with smarties and what was left of the gumdrops while Harry put necco wafers on the roof to act as shingles. He even put extra white icing around to look like snow.

I don't mean to brag, but when it was all finished, it looked pretty professional. We put green and white frosting to look like grass and decorated the two gingerbread people to look like us. I made sure to take an Instagram so everyone could see our festive creation.

But with all the decorating, a huge mess shortly followed; sprinkles and candies scattered the floor while icing was smeared almost everywhere.

"You got a little something" Harry pointed to the bit on icing on my cheek. "I got it though" Instead of wiping it off with a cloth, he moved his head in closer and kissed me over and over again.

"Oh stop!" I giggled, but he didn't. Lips now locked, he wrapped his arms around me, picked me up and sat me on the island. What were cute pecks soon escalated into a full make out session.

Harry broke free from the kiss. "I just wanna relax, being head decorator is a tough job" He kissed me again and began climbing up on top of me. What neither of us paid attention to was that everything we used to decorate, including the gingerbread house itself was still on the island with us as well. Harry sat up to start unbuckling my belt. Everything was going great until I heard a crash on the floor.

"You've gotta be kidding me" I sat up, and there it was. Our gingerbread house had smashed to pieces all because of my boyfriend's weirdly long limbs. "Way to go master decorator." We couldn't help but laugh at what just happened. Those hours of hard work were now in bits and pieces on our floor.

"Guess I better get the vacuum" Harry grumbled.

"Not so fast, that can wait" I said as I tugged on the front of his shirt, bringing him back to me.

"What are you doing!! We have to clean this up, run to the store, and get another one! As head decorator, this isn't gonna fly" he said as he climbed off the island and began to group the pieces together in a pile.

"But babe.." I resorted to the puppy dog eyes, how could he not finish what he started?

"Nope, nope, nope. Grab your coat, it's late and the stores are closing soon. Those gingerbread men need a new house and we're gonna give it to them. Let's go babe!" Harry gave me a peck on the lips, threw me my coat, and off we went, back to the grocery store.
