Shouting out the truth
The wind blew across the night sky. Thats what he was, a cold wind that had slowly froze my warm heart. I though he was someone I could trust but I guess not. He was just an idiotic, jerk that didnt care about anybody but himself and-
Snap!
"Dang it!" I yelled.
Reality suddenly found it's way back to me as time began to move forward again. I was no longer in my own little place, all because of a stupid pencil. The door bell chimed as someone walked into the small coffee shop. Stupid pencil.
"Oh my gosh, Kat! Guess what, Guess what, Guess what!" Jules said as she sat down in front of me.
"Uh, I don't know. You finnaly got a job?" I guessed. Jules had been trying to get a job for forever, but all her old bosses said she was 'Too hyper.' Which I have to agree too. She was very hyper.
"Uh, no. I got One Direction tickets for next month and back stage passes!!!" She yells. Bringing the attention of every female in the room. She then realizes what she had done and only whispered "sorry".
I stood to leave but Jules grabbed my wrist. She gave me a pleading look. She knew how much I hated attention and standing in a coffee shop with almost every female in the room staring at you like they wanted to eat you didnt appeal to me very much.
"Tell me you'll go with me?" She begged. Even though I haven't even heard about this One Direction boyband before, I didn't like them to well at the moment.
"Why don't you ask one of them to go with you," I motioned around the room. " I'm sure they'd love to go."
I grabbed my notebook and my broken pencil. I walked out of the coffee shop. I continued my walk to the bus stop, where I sat and began to read a story off of Wattpad on my I-Phone. Until I was interupted.
"What'cha reading?"
I turn torwards the person seated beside me. A boy wearing sunglasses and a red hoodie. He smiled at me showing his perfectly white teeth.
"Um, I'm reading a story off of Wattpad." I said simply.
"Wattpad?" He sounded british. "What is that?"
"Oh um, Its a website type of thing. You can also get the app. You, uh, make an account then you can read books that other people wrote, comment on them and you can vote for the next chapter. You can also write your own books and post them." I said shyly.
"That's cool, and it's free?" He asked. I nodded my head. "You think you could make me an account?"
I nodded. He handed me his phone and looked over my shoulder as I scrolled through the app store. Once it had finished downloading. I helped the boy make an account. Afterwards we talked awhile, for some reason I felt oddly compfortable around him and I hintend to him to check out ShoutingOutTheTruth even if it was me.Soon the bus came and i said a brief goodbye and got onto the bus. Yet I couldn't stop thinking about him the whole bus ride and I didn't know his name. I didn't see his account, I accepted his wish.
When I got home no one was there. As I walked into the kitchen I saw a note on the fridge.
Work late. I'm sorry. Alex is at a friend's house. Have a good night. Love you!- Mom
"Of course." I muttered to myself. Home alone without a little brother to annoy. Just great.
I walked upstairs. I logged onto Wattpad and updated one of my stories. I the started scrolling through comments on one of my completed stories. Most of them were the same. 'I love you! You are such a great writer.' or 'Who are you?'. Yet one caught my eye, it was different from the rest.
Wow. Not all sugar and gum drops, right? Totally the truth about life. Like your username says, you are totally shouting out the truth. I am definantly going to check out your other stories. This one was really inspiring. :)
I smiled at the comment and laughed at the username: CarrotLuver12. I went back to my profile and saw I had a new follower and they had inboxed me. I smiled when I saw who it was.

I smiled and messaged back.

That's how it all started. That whole week every time I updated a story CarrotLuver12 would comment. His comments made my day. We had also messaged all the time. Eventually I told him about the One Direction concert. He told me to go cause it might be fun. And now here I am talking to CarrotLuver12 while Jules talks about One Direction- Blah blah blah blah-
"Kat! Are you even listening to me?"
"Huh? What? No." I stutter out.
"Kat. Give me the phone." She says sternly.
My eyes widen as I clutch my phone to my chest. I shke my head but she only holds her out. I shake my head again. She makes a move to grab it and I sprint out the door and down the stairs. I hid in the down stairs bathroom.
ShoutingOutTheTruth- Jules is trying to kill me!!!
CarrotLuver12- Haha! What did you do this time?
I explained the situation to him and he only laughed at me. Soon banging at the door interupted our conversation.I sat still, until the banging stopped. But then the door oped to reavel a smirking Jules with a key in her hand.
"NO!" I yelled as she took my ohne and ran out the door.
I followed her to my bedroom door and I heard her gasp. The door opened and Jules starred at me, Shocked. Then she broke out into a smile.
"YOU'VE BEEN TALKING TO A BOY!" She yells.
"No I haven't!"
"Kat has a boyfriend! Kat has a-" I cover her mouth.
"No I don't!"
She simply hands me the phone. I stare at it a good two minutes.
ShoutingOutTheTruth- Are you Kat's boyfriend?
CarrotLuver12- Ah you must be Jules! Yes, Yes I am. Me and Kat are madly in love!
I message him back.
ShoutingOutTheTruth- DUDE!
CarrotLuver12- And Kat's back. I like your name! It fits your personality! I actually just wanted to see how she would react! Sorry! XD
ShoutingOutTheTruth- Well you know my name, can you tell me yours? Oh, And promise not to tell?
CarrotLuver12- Sorry I gotta go. Uh, Louis. It's Louis and yeah I promise.
I heard Jules gasp behind me. I turned and she stared wide eyed at me. She ran to her bag and pulled out a 1D poster. She showed me a boy.
"This is Louis. Louis Tomlinson. He loves carrots!" Jules said all excited.
"Jules, I've known this guy for like a week. There are also tons of guys named Louis and they probably love carrots too." I say.
"Your probablyy right." She sighs.
I stare at the poster. My jaw dropps. Add glasses and a red hoodie that could be the guy at the bus stop. And if thats the guy from the bus stop, I told him to check out ShoutingOutTheTruth.
All three guys can't be connected... Right?
