Harry's POV

As soon as I kissed her, I knew that I shouldn't have. She quickly put her hands on my chest and shoved me away. I stumbled backwards.

Wow. I missed her taste.

"I-I"m sorry." I said turning away from her.

Annie's POV

He apologized and turned away from me. What just happened?

I stand still, unknowing of what to do. "Why did you kiss me?" I ask. It's a stupid question, really. But what else am I supposed to say?

"I'm sorry." He repeated. "I..just....."

"Turn around." I command.

He looks over his shoulder at me and slowly, we become face to face. His gaze drops to the cement below our feet.

"You just what?" I asked.

He takes a deep breath and slowly says, "I just, for a second, forgot about the wreck." He puts his right hand in his pocket and pulls out some cash. "Take this. Go get a cab, and return to the house. I'll meet you there." Before I can protest he turns, and walks away.

What the hell? Why can't we just ride in the same car in our own awkward silence? Ugh, whatever.

I walk over to the street and call a taxi. He pulls up next to me, and I hop in.

"Where to?" He says holding a kind grin on his face.

"Umm." Shit. Harry never gave me the address. And I didn't bother to recognize it. "Do you know any good coffee places?"

He nods, and starts the car, driving away.

All those things Harry said to me were, just, amazing. He said them with so much thought. I could see the love in his eyes. Did he mean those words as much as he did the night of the wreck?

I can't do this to him. I could tell ever since we got home from the hospital that he's been holding back something. I can see it.

This is too much for me to handle. Harry is too sweet of a guy to settle for some brainless freak like me. He just needs to let go.







I think I can make that easier for him.

Holy fuck guys. I know I haven't been on the ball about updating lately, and I totally apologize! Schools a fucking bore...I am involved with the MOST dramatic people on Earth! I just want to punch everyone in the face right now!
