I Knew You Would
Chapter 6
My eyes widened. I knew he was my fiance.. but I didn't know it was just before the accident!
"You were jumping up and down yelling 'yes' as loud as you could." His tears are more frequent now. "I put the ring on, and you quickly jumped in my arms. I was so happy, I can't explain what I felt. Anyways, I was spinning you around, and we kept kissing each other." He sniffed, and started to smile. "People around us were taking pictures and clapping."
His face turned serious again. "On our way home...it started to rain." He takes a breath, and sighs. "A car cut in front of us, and I ended up over-correcting," he chokes, "we rolled down a hill beside the road." He was bawling now. "I thought I lost you."
I can't believe this. He cares so much for me. I hug him. I have to. "It's okay," I say trying to comfort him, "I'm here now."
"But you're not the same. You don't even remember me." He backs out of the hug, looking away from me. "You don't remember all of the wonderful moments we've shared together. Or... or any of the things we said to each other..."
"I'm sorry," I say, "I really wish I could remember-"
"Do you?" He interrupts, looking at me. "Do you really?"
I don't answer. I just look down and examine my scraped hands.
Harry sniffs one last time before turning off the bed-side lamp that's on his side. He lays down, facing away from me.
"Goodnight." I say, turning off the lamp on this side. I face away from Harry, too. Tonight shouldn't be hard to fall asleep, I mean, I'm exhausted.
*DREAM*
"Nice to meet you." A man says, shaking my hand, "I'm Harry." He smiles.
"Well, Harry," I say, "It's raining pretty hard for either of us to stay outside without getting sick....wanna, maybe...get something to eat?"
He smiles holding out his left arm, which I gladly take in my right. "Let's go."
*END OF DREAM*
I wake up and look at the alarm clock. 10:30 a.m. Ugh. My head hurts, so does my back. Wait a minute. Why does my back feel so warm? I look down and see a strong arm wrapped around my waist. I lean up, because i can't sit up all the way. I look over to see Harry fast asleep. I try to slowly pull his arm off me. And when I do, it comes right back to my waist pulling me tighter, and closer to him.
"No, babe, don't go." He grumbles.
*FLASHBACK*
"No, babe, don't go."
"Harry I have to get up," I moan, "I'm going to be late for work!"
"Screw work!" He says opening his eyes. "You should stay here, forever, with me."
He pulls me down for a kiss. But it doesn't last long. I quickly lean away and whisper, "See you in a few hours."
He moans loudly, like a little child. He watches me leave the room.
"Goodbye Harry! xoxo!" I say walking out of the bedroom.
"Goodbye, Love!" He yells as I descend the stairs.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
"Harry!" I whisper loudly, slightly nudging his arm. At first he doesn't respond, so I shake him a few more times.
"Hmm?" He says keeping his eyes closed.
"Umm, could you maybe.. take your arm off me?" I ask.
"Oh," His eyes open, "Sorry." He releases his grip from me.

Notes
This is a short chapter..ugh whatever.I'm thinking of re-designing the title page.. I don't know what I want it to look like yet.. and I am also thinking about maybe changing the person who plays Annie...highly considering it.
