"Annie?" There's that man's voice again, but softer this time. My left hand is surrounded by warmth, while as my right, lays cold.

I open my eyes. Everything looks blurry. I look to my left and see a hazy figure of a man holding my hand. I blink a few times so I can see clearly. He has brown hair, and bright green eyes with tears slowly dripping from them. Blood stains his white V-neck.

"Are you okay?" I ask him. He looks up at me and grins slightly reaves long his dimples.

"I think the real question is: are YOU okay?" Each word he speaks sinks deep within me.

"What?" I say confused. "I'm fine!" I sit up quickly. And as soon as I do, pain shoots up my back and my head begins to throb. "Ow!" I say slowly laying back down.

"Babe," the curly haired boy says, "take it easy. You're not fully healed yet."

"What? Who are you anyway? And don't call me babe! And what are you doing here?" Okay now I'm really confused. Right as I speak, his face becomes sad, as if I've just broken his heart.

"You don't remember." Those are the only words he can choke out before he runs out of the room.
