Harry’s POV

It’d been a few days since the Sebastian thing, Ember had moved in, and we were closer as friends now. We had a routine, and part of that was gang meetings every night. They ended late, with many plans, and we were expecting McCann to fly in from Vegas today. “Harry!” I heard Ember shout as the door slammed. She sounded like she’d had a bad day, I walked out into the foyer and looked her up and down, and she looked fine.

“Is there anything wrong?” I asked, smiling. She rolled her eyes as she looked up at me, her arms crossed in front of her chest.

“Why do you have someone assigned to follow me around town?” She snapped, seeming more angered by my smile.

“Ember, you need to be safe and you can be reckless sometimes, so yeah I did assign someone to follow you around.” I shrugged.

“I can do fine by myself! I did it for years without you!” She shouted.

I sighed and walked forward, and placed my hand on her cheek, moving some hair out of her face. “Harry what are you doing?” She whispered, her breath uneven. I smiled as I moved closer to her, my hand finding hers, pulling her against me. “Harry.” She said a bit louder, her breathing still uneven.

“Yes, love?” I asked, smiling down at her.

“What are you doing?” She asked again, and I smiled and leaned down and pressed my lips against hers. She tightened her grip on my hand as she kissed me back, I could feel her blush as I kissed her. After a few more seconds I pulled away and dropped another kiss on her cheek. “I’m taking you out.” I said huskily, a lazy smile on my face.

“When was this decided?” She asked with a small smile, so I knew she was kidding.

“Hmm, now. Now go get one of your cute outfits you wear when we go out with the boys, I’m taking you to dinner.” I smiled and kissed her forehead and began to walk towards the door.

“Wait, Harry!” She said, grabbing my hand as I walked past her.

“Yeah?” I asked, smiling.

“Kiss me again?” She asked, a blush on her cheeks. She looked so beautiful in that moment, blushing, her lips red and her eyes bright. I nodded and walked over and kissed her again, one of my hands on her waist, and the other on her cheek. She leaned her head up, deepening the kiss. I felt her smiling against my lips and this time, she was the one to pull away.

“I’ll see you at seven for dinner.” I said with a smile.

“Alright, see you at seven.” She agreed and began taking her shoes off, revealing her cute Christmas themed socks.

“Nice socks.” I chuckled as I walked out, and locked the door behind me.

Ember’s POV

As soon as Harry was gone, I called Zayn. “Zayn!” I said as he answered.

“Hey, welcome to Zayn’s house of how may I save your ass today?” He answered the phone. I could hear him smiling.

“Harry kissed me.” I whispered, a smile spreading across my face.

“He what?” Zayn asked, chuckling.

“He kissed me, and he’s taking me out to dinner.” I said, my smile getting bigger.

“Shouldn’t you be getting ready for the date, not talking to me?” Zayn asked while chuckling.

“I should but I don’t know what to wear, plus I have until seven and its five right now.” I shrugged.

“Yeah, but knowing you, you’ll need to shower, and do your hair, and get dressed, and put on some light makeup, and you know that’ll take more than a half hour.” He mentioned, and I laughed, knowing he was correct.
“Just tell me what to wear, Malik. I can figure the rest out by myself.” I replied.

“All right, wear your blue skinny jeans with your cream sweater and red plaid scarf, along with the tall dark brown boots you have and no hat.” He said immediately. I smirked as realization came to me.

“What gives, Malik?” I asked, smiling.

“What do you mean?” He asked, laughing nervously.

“Where’s he taking me? You must know something. I mean, you came up with my outfit choice without the shadow of a doubt.” I said simply.

“That, I can’t tell you. But I can tell you that it’ll be fun.” He replied. “And I hope you do have fun, but Harry’s almost here, we’re about to pick up McCann from the airport, he’ll be back to get you in two hours.” I nodded.

“All right, see you in a couple hours.” I replied before hanging up. I took off my shoes and ran up to my room in the three-floor apartment and started heating up my shower. I grabbed the clothes Zayn had suggested and decided to wear Harry’s airplane necklace that he’d left on my dresser for whatever reason. I stepped into the shower once it was warm and quickly washed myself before shaving my legs, it always got on my nerves when there was hair on my legs and I was wearing skinny jeans. I got out after that and grabbed a towel, before walking out of the bathroom and dried off in my room. I put underwear, and then the clothes on, before my phone rang out with a text. I looked at my screen, the number was unknown, so I didn’t open it just yet. I knew it was an iMessage, so it had to be from an iPhone. I walked back into my bathroom and shut the door before beginning to work on my hair. I dried it, and then curled it with my 32mm curling wand. I pinned parts of it back away from my face and then I started with my makeup. Since my complexion was free of acne and dry skin, I dusted a light powder over my face to do away with the oil, and put some mascara and light brown eye shadow on. I walked out of my bathroom and checked the time, it was 6:45 now. I unlocked my phone and I clicked on the unread message, and a chill went through me as I read the words.

Nice body, baby. Next time though, the clothes will be coming off, not going on. x – S.

I know Tuesday is my update day but I have a busy week ahead!

I have finals all week, and then my break starts on Thursday

I'll be updating during the break, but I won't get another one in this week because of my exams, so I'm leaving you with this cliff hanger for now

I'm also sorry for the cliff hanger, but it sets up for the next chapter, so don't fret too much, and I'll see you not this Tuesday, but on the 23rd with a new update that I promise will be worth the wait!
