All I Ever Wanted

Wedding Dresses, Christmas, and Tourism

"Oh my God." Eleanor gasped. "You are going to be the most beautiful bride ever!"

"Shut up, El. Did you see yourself?" I laughed.

"Honey, it's beautiful!" My mom teared up.

"Oh mom, don't cry!" I fanned myself like a typical girl, trying not to cry.

"Le, Harry is going to die when he sees you walk down that aisle." Emma shrieked.

"Let's hope not. I would like to actually marry him." I stuck my tongue out at her, laughing.

Emma made a face and continued to feed Alana her bottle. She'd been a good two month old, considering we'd been wedding dress shopping for the past six hours. Perrie and Danielle both had to work, so they couldn't be here. All of the girls were my bridesmaids and little Alana was going to be my flower girl.

"Are you saying yes to the dress?" Eleanor smirked.

"I'm saying yes to the dress!" I giggled and everyone cheered.

It was a strapless, fitted gown that I felt like showed off my figure. The detail on the dress was exquisite and I'd never seen anything like it. I paid and we all went out for dinner.

"So have you talked about the honeymoon yet?" Emma asked.

She was curious about all the plans because she was going to be planning her wedding soon. They wanted Alana to be able to walk down the aisle, so they were waiting a year until they wanted to tie the knot.

"A little bit. We both want somewhere beachy and tropical. Those huts on top of the water are neat. We talked about that, but we haven't reserved anything yet." I munched on the appetizer while we all discussed more wedding details.

The wedding was set for June 20th of the following year. That left me with a little over seven months for planning.

Christmas and my birthday were coming up. I was excited for both. It was mine and Harry's first Christmas, since we'd spent last year broken up. I couldn't wait to dress him in Christmas sweaters and buy him fun gifts. Spoiling him had become my hobby and he didn't take it easy on me, either. He surprised me so often, I didn't know one could come up with so many romantic ideas. But I loved it and him.

I arrived home to find him already asleep. One Direction had been rehearsing a lot because they were scheduled for another tour after the holidays. He'd been tired a lot lately and I just wanted to tuck him in and kiss his forehead. I snuggled up beside him and felt him move to cuddle with me. He placed his head in the crook of my neck and wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer. I breathed him in and closed my eyes, completely overwhelmed with how perfect my life was going.

"Leah! Wake up! Santa Clause came! Santa came, Leah! Hurry!" Harry woke me up on Christmas morning.

I sat up, thinking for a second that I'd had twelve kids overnight - that's how excited Harry was. I climbed out of bed and followed him downstairs. We swapped our presents and then decided to cook breakfast together.

"Pancakes?" Harry questioned, but without my reply he nodded. "Pancakes."

I giggled and pulled the ingredients out of the cabinet while he heated up the skillet.

We snuggled on the couch and turned the TV on to The Grinch while we ate our Christmas pancakes.

"Do you realize that this time next year, we could be doing this with a baby?" Harry spoke quietly, but excited.

"Slow your roll, daddy Harry." I almost choked on my pancake. It takes 9 months, well technically 10 after the bun is placed in the oven. Which means we would have to start trying like now."

Harry wagged his eyebrows up and down. I giggled.

"Harry, don't you want to at least be married before we're pregnant? I do. Plus I'd be fat in my wedding dress and we wouldn't get to do it on our honeymoon." I poked out my bottom lip.

"Yeah, I actually do want to be married before we have any. And you're right. Why would we even go on a honeymoon if there was no sex?" I nodded in agreement.

"And shut up you'll be beautiful even when you're fat. That's not an issue." He scolded.

"Aww." I pinched his cheek.

"I just get so excited around Christmas. It always makes me want kids." He turned on the couch so that he was facing me. He pulled my legs into his lap and pulled me closer.

"So do I. I want to give you babies more than anything in this world." I smiled, pressing my lips against his.

"I really can't understand what I did right to deserve you." He whispered.

We ended up in a heated make-out sesh but I had to stop him. We were visiting our mommas today and something about sex right before visiting parents just gave me the heeby jeebies.

"Later." I bit my lip and gazed at his pretty face while he pouted.

"I'm holding you to it." He flashed a cheeky grin as I got off of the couch to get ready to visit family.

"The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed!" The boys sang and Emma and Lou and I danced like goofballs.

They were back on tour and Emma, Alana, and I went everywhere with them. It was the most fun I'd ever had, spending time with all of my favorite people.

It was March and they were currently in Australia. The place was beautiful. I'd never been and Harry had shown me some amazing sights while here. Since today's show was a matinee, he'd promised to take me to Ayer's Rock. He and the boys had seen it before while on tour here and it was one of the most recommended and romantic things to do in Australia.

Harry rented a car and we'd been driving for two hours, when Ayer's Rock was supposedly only 55 minutes from our starting place. I didn't mind, but I was anxious to get there.

“Circles, we’re going in circles. Dizzy’s all it makes us. We know where it takes us, we’ve been beforeeeee!” I sang to the top of my lungs.

“Hey, shut up!” Harry burst into giggles.

We were completely and utterly lost. He was being stubborn and wouldn’t stop for directions.

“I’ve been here so many times! I know exactly where we are!”

“Sureee.” I winked at him and leaned back into the passenger seat. “It’s okay that we’re lost because we’re together. And being together is all I could ever want.”

Harry leaned over and kissed me, hard. “It’s all I want for the rest of my life.”
