101 Letters
Day 2
Niall’s POV
I sat staring at the screen, waiting for Scar to be on Skype. It was almost 10:30 before she popped up. “Hey Irish.” She said, her eyes were red. “Hey Scar, are you ok?” “No, Nicholas Sparks marathon after shopping, with no boyfriends… BAD idea.” I laughed. “Now THAT is your own fault. Did you have fun shopping?” She nodded and I braced myself for the girly details. “I would tell you…. But the outfits are surprises. All of you WONDERFUL boys left your girls letters for while you’re gone, so we have 101 surprises for you guys.” “And 101 outfits to go with?” My eyebrows shot up as I asked this question. “Haha, no. But we are genius enough to make 101 outfit combinations with the outfits we did buy.” I smiled, at least her closet wouldn’t explode. “Niall! I brought Nando’s!” Liam shouted. My face lit up more. “Yes! Finally, I am so hungry!” “You’re always hungry” Liam and Scar chorused. “Hey little sister, how are you?” “Horrible, there’s no one to cook for me.” Liam looked at the screen. “You know how to cook.” “Yes, but I don’t WANT to!” “You cook for Niall,” “He’s my BOYFRIEND, you’re my brother, you’re supposed to suffer.” “Scarlett Sop…” “Don’t finish that sentence, now leave, I’m talking to MY girlfriend, go bother yours.” I shoved him out the door. “Now,” I started, shoving chicken in my mouth, “Where were we?” “ You were about to go outside so I can see Paris.” I lifted the laptop and walked onto the balcony, setting on the table so she could see the Eiffel Tower. When I looked back at the screen, there were candles and she had gotten food. “Now, shall we have a romantic date in the city of love?” She asked. “In pajamas?” “Best kind there is.” I laughed and we talked until she fell asleep on camera. I stared at how happy she looked; I hoped I was in her dreams before pulling up the covers.
Scarlett’s POV
I woke up in an unfamiliar bed, freaking out until I remember why it smelled so good. I rolled off the bed and saw my computer on the side table. Niall was still on the screen, sleeping and talking about his day. “Andispentthewholedaymissingmyprincessandworryingthatshewastoosad. Iwantedtogorunningbackbuticouldn’tbutitsokbecauseshe’sreallystrongandilovehermorethananything.” I blushed, he was going on and on. All at once, my phone buzzed.
Iron Man: It’s rude to listen to someone’s sleeptalk.
Iron Man: You could’ve ended it.
Black Widow: First off, why do we have Avengers names? And second, admit it, you need me to wake them up.
Iron Man: One, because we’re awesome and are obsessed with the Avengers and, PLEASE! Zayn won’t get up!
Black Widow: Ok, I’m on it.
“Niall James, if you don’t get up, Liam won’t feed you.” I said. Niall’s eyes FLEW open. “I’m up, PLEASE feed me Liam. You know that I’m starvin’.” “Fine, but carry the laptop, Scar needs to wake everyone up.” He nodded me and we went into Louis’ and Harry’s room. “Louis, get up before I throw your carrots away.” Louis bolted up, “CARROTS!” I laughed and moved on to Harry. “Hazza, wake up before the world runs out of bowties.” He jumped out of bed and got dresses. “And now for the ‘troublemaker’” I joked. “Zayn, if you don’t get out of bed right now, I will break all your mirrors.” He woke up and stared at me. “Sorry hun, but it gets you up. And nice hair, you should leave it like that.” He smiled, “Thanks Scar.” Niall turned the laptop around. “Ok Princess, I’ll talk to you later?” I nodded. “I love you Irish.” “I love you too.” He ended the call and I stared at the blank screen, this was AWFUL!! I missed my boo. Then I crawled out of bed and grabbed the 2nd letter from under my pillow.
Princess, I hope you’re having waffles, waffles make you happy. So, today we’re remembering, like how we met. I saw you hugging Liam before we were put together, and I remembered him telling me about how much he loved you, and how he only wanted the best for you. After we came in 3rd, you hugged us all, even though you didn’t really noticed, and you lingered with me and Liam. He then pulled me aside and said he would give me a chance with you. But, it took me 2 ½ years to get you. You were so scared of being in a relationship with anyone, let alone a celebrity. But, you and me, we made it work. Now, me mum wants you to come out to meet her, and she doesn’t want me there, so there’s a full-trip ticket to Mullingar. If you don’t want to go, you can wait for me. But I think you should go. Also, you’re going to the spa, have fun. I know you might be a little angry that I’m planning for you to go out every day, but if I don’t, you’ll mope around in my flat, wearing MY jumpers. You also might want to do some shopping, I’m running low on food there, so just warning you. Now, go, have fun, you have my permission to do anything but hang out with boys, (yes, you may play me ‘tair.) Right, same as yesterday, I’ll call ya, then we’ll Skype. I love ya with everything I am Princess, and I miss you even more. Xxx- Nialler.
I smiled, he was amazing, sure they weren’t classic love letters, but that’s what made them so wonderful. I re-read the letter while eating my waffles. I still can’t believe that I never noticed him before they were a band, I mean, him and Liam were roommates at Boot Camp. Oh well, I got dressed and headed out to… Dear goodness, a limo… to go to the spa? There was a note inside: Princess, before you go to the spa, you’re having to meet Uncle Si, sorry I didn’t warn you. He just wants to meet you, I think it’s about your voice… (plus he wants t meet my lass) so, just smile and be yourself. Xx- Niall.
