“So Johanna wants to play matchmaker at her own wedding, huh?” Sophia clasped her hands together and smiled. I nodded, shrugging a bit. “With Louis, yeah?”
“She suggested Harry, also,” I said with a laugh. “I couldn't possibly, though. They're so high up in the business, I assume you don't see Liam as often as you would wish?”
Sophia said, “Of course. But it's a minor thing in our relationship.” She smiles tightly, deciding to change the subject.
“Are you a fan of the boys? We're you excited when they got here?”
“I got more nervous than I did excited. It's scary being at a celebrity's wedding, I learned. And, to answer your question, I've not really listened and learned about them enough to be a fan.”
I pushed a hair out of my face, placing it behind my ear an smiling. “Of course I do have some favorites. Little Things is pure poetry.” Sophia smiled.
“Liam sings that to me when he gets home after tours,” she said. “It's always a confidence booster.”
From a distance, we heard someone shout. “Sophia! Liam is looking for you!” We turned to the source and saw the one and only– Louis Tomlinson– running towards us.
“Oh, Louis,” Sophia said, eyeing me and smirking. “We were just talking about you.” I felt my pale cheeks warm up, smiling weakly as Louis looked from Sophia to me.
“Would you please escort Emily back inside, I have to hurry to Liam,” Sophia said, walking behind Louis, turning around, giving me a thumbs up and a wink.
“Sure,” Louis replied awkwardly, looking at me intently. As we heard Sophia's heels click away faster than I could say my own name, we watched each other breathe.
“I'm Louis,” he said, turning to face the direction we needed to go.
“I'm Emily.”
“I've seen you before, yeah? You're a model?” I nodded, and we started walking. “How'd you get here?”
“My mother works with yours,” I told him quietly. He nods. “Your sisters are very beautiful. Pardon my curiosity, but they are not your blood, right?”
“Correct.” I nodded. “Uh–have you ever been to the U.S before?”
“I lived there for a year, for college.” I shrugged. “I realized college–or university– just wasn't my thing. So I got a job back here.”
