Harry's POV

I woke up smiling. The skies were clear and blue. I rolled over not wanting to get up because I wanted to stay asleep and finish my dream. This moment broke when Louis chucked a pillow at my head.
"Dude?!" I complained.
"We have a meeting in approximately seven minutes!" he dragged me out of bed by my arm and pulled me to my feet.
"Urgh." I groaned.

Eloise's POV

I woke up to my phone ringing. I dragged myself over to the bed side table to pick it up.

"Hello?"
"It's Jacob." he replied bluntly.
"Oh, hey. How come you're calling from a different phone?"
"My other one broke."
"Okay." he was being a bit viscious and I didn't particularly like the way he'd twisted the tone in his voice.
"You don't love me, huh?"
"Look I'm sorr-"
"I didn't realise you dumped me so you could run off with some fancy celeb as soon as you got the bloody chance." he cut me short.
"I didn't mean to;it wasn't planned. It just happened. I didn't come to California just to meet him," I sighed, I really didn't want to get into an argument right now. I felt as if the minute I was happy, the universe threw something in my face to say 'haha no you're not'. "Please don't get upset."
"Oh I'm not upset. I'm glad you found someone else. Fortunately he's just as stuck up as you."
"Why do you have to be like this?" My eyes glazed over.
"It's the truth." he said bitterly.
"If I'm so stuck up, then why did you date me for five years?"
"If you didn't love me, why did you stay with me for five years?"
"I did love you."
"How can you just stop loving someone so quickly."
"We'd been drifting apart for ages. I went to Uni, you went to Uni. You obviously had a lot more fun than I did."
"Do not bring that up. I was drunk. I didn't realise what I was doing, Ell."
"Then how come it happened three times?" I snapped.
"We went out more than once!" he raised his voice a little.
"Do you think maybe that was an indicator to stop going out?"
"So now this is all my fault?"
"I'm just saying that while you were having the time of your life, I was miserable."
"Ellie, I was going to propose to you," I paused for a minute. What the fuck do you say to that? "but then you told me you didn't love me anymore, and flew out to America. You just left me with a broken heart and a useless ring."
"If you can't dedicate yourself to someone for three years, what makes you think you're gonna last a life time?"
"I get it. I was an ass-"
"An ass three times." I corrected. Possibly more that I just didn't find out about.
"Fine," he pushed out through gritted teeth. "but I've changed."
"You've changed in the last two months since you last cheated on me?"
"It was a lads night. We were celebrating making it through Uni alive." he defended.
"Maybe you should have been celebrating making it through Uni with a girlfriend, because I should have dumped you sooner." I spat.
"See what he's turned you into? A bitch. A total spoilt bitch." I didn't say anything. Deep down I knew it was true. Harry hadn't turned me into a bitch, I already was one. I was selfish and ignorant. I was too occupied with what myself, that I crushed Jacob's feelings and broke Joe's heart.
"I'm sorry." I hung up quickly so he couldn't hear me burst into tears. I thought he was okay, the text he sent me the other day was lovely. Why had he turned into this? Why had I turned into this?

"Ell, are you okay?" Joe asked.
"You were listening to that, huh?" I sobbed.
"Sounded intense. Jacob?"
"Yeah," I cried. "he really, really hates me."
"Don't listen to him, Ell. He doesn't deserve you."
"I don't deserve anyone."
"Of course you do." he comforted, slipping down next to me on my bed and wrapping me in a cuddle.
"I don't. He told me I'm a spoilt bitch. And what hurts most is that he's right."
"Bullshit. You're the nicest person I know."
"Then how come I was the reason you were crying on the floor?" he fell silent.
"It wasn't 'cause of you, I just like the attention." he joked.
"Oh Joe," I exhaled deeply. "What would I do without you?"

Harry's POV

The meeting went smoothly, although Zayn was shooting me a death glare the entire time. I stood behind the door and grabbed him before he walked out.
"Mate, are you alright?" I asked.
"With you? No." he stated.
"She's not actually Hollie!" I tried to explain.
"Why would you completely ignore the fact I wasn't alright with you and her?"
"I like her too much to let her go." I admitted.
"News flash bro, no one gives a fuck." he spoke sourly.
"You have Perrie now, who cares about Hollie?"
"It's not just Hollie. I had a daughter. Well, at least I thought I did. And every time I look at Eloise, it just brings back all those painful memories." Zayn looked deflated and broken.
"I'm sorry," I simply replied. "Maybe you should hang with Eloise, see how nice she is?"
"Will that help?"
"I think so." I nodded. I appreciated he was going to try for me.
"Okay."
"Thanks mate." I patted him on the shoulder before grabbing my phone and dialling Eloise's number.

"Hello?" she picked up sounding a little shaky.
"Hey it's Harry. Are you alright?" I checked.
"Yeah, fine."
"Oh good, you just sound a bit sniffly." I confessed.
"Oh no, I think it's just the connection." she replied, although I had full bars.
"Okay," I said. "How about you and your friends come and hang out with us today?"
"'Us' as in?"
"Me and the rest of the band."
"Zoe's gonna die." she told me. I laughed.
"Come round at 11ish?"
"Sounds great."
"I look forward to it."

Short update. I didn't really know what to write for this chapter so I winged it. Next chapter will be better though, I pinky promise! -N x
