Mckenzie POV

As soon as I step foot in the hospital my vision becomes blurry. I cant see a damn thing. I go up to the lady at the front desk and ask and answer all these mother fucking stupid questions just to find out where she is. And it scares the hell out of me to find out where she is.

"She's in the ICU." What! Did i hear her corectly. My mom is not in the ICU. The accedint couldn't have been that bad. Right?

When i finally allow myself to believe shes in the ICU my pulse starts to speed up. My legs become shaky. My hands clamy. I start to see white every where.

"Luke i think im having a......" White spaces take up my mind and i feel muscular arms grab my hips.

I wake up in a small white room and my body feels so weak.

"Good your awake. How do you feel?" Luke presses a button on my monitor to call the nurse in and just stares at me.

"I still feel a little light headed, but im ok. Did you hear anything about my mom?" I really hope she is okay. My mom is like my jelly to my peanut butter. If i lost her i would be all lonley and tasteless.

"Shes in cridical condition, but she will most likely survive." Even thats not a straight forward answer i'll take it. As long as i have something to look forward to i'll stay as positive as i can be.

"Thank you Luke."

"For what beautiful?" I blush slitely at the nickname.

"For keeping your promise that my mom would be okay."

"Well i promise to always keep my promises to you, Love."
