"Faith. Faith." A voice echoed in my ears.

I shot straight up from my laying down position and waited for my eyes to focus.I had woken up in the middle of a field. The grass around me was burnt and it looked as if a comet had landed in the exact spot that I was laying in. It was almost as if I had been the comet. I couldn't remember anything about me. Not my name, where I was from, where I was going, where I was at. Nothing.

A little ways from the spot I was laying in was a small dirt road. I started to get up and brush some dirt off of me. I wandered closer to the old dirt road about decided on heading to the left. As far down the road as I could see, there was no sign of anything in either direction. Taking a left was just a guess considering I didn't even know where I was supposed to be going.

"Faith. Faith."

I started walking down the dirt road until a head a rumbling noise behind me. A truck pulled up to a stop next to me and I stopped as the old man in the truck rolled down his window and leaned over closer to the window since he was on the other side of the truck.

"Heading to town?" the old man asked.

He was pointing into the direction that I was going and I nodded.as he pushed the door open and patted the seat next to him.

"Get in."

I stepped u into the old rusty truck with the old man who was a stranger but was nice enough to offer me a ride.

'So what's your name kid?" the old man asked.

"Faith." I repeated the words that I had heard earlier.

He mentioned something about it being a pretty name and tried to start another conversation but realized I was in no talking mood and continued to drive quietly. After about half of an hour later, we pulled up into a gas station just inside the town. The people here must know the first thing you need when you get here is little bit of gas or you won't be able to make in to the next shop.

I got out of the car and thanked the old man for the ride here. I would offer something in return but I had no money and no other things laying around. We said our goodbyes and I headed off to find a place I could stay overnight. I checked the gas station first and asked the man at the register if he knew anywhere I could stay for a cheap price. He said the motel down the street is run by an old couple who don't charge very much. This didn't help me much though, considering I had no money.

I wandered off down the street and took a turn at one of the corners. This road looked older than the rest and much darker. I decided to head this way for the night. After a few minuets of walking and seeing nothing ahead of me, I stopped to turn and look back. When I looked back in the direction of where I had been heading a girl about the same age as me starred back at me.

"Sorry, I didn't see you there." I said and tried to go around her but she stepped in front of me again.

'I have a place you can stay." She said.

"No thanks. I can find a place on my own." This girl feaked me out, no way I was going anywhere with her.

"Suit yourself." The girl smirked. She then turned and ran off into the woods. I looked to see her run, but I could no longer see her.

Another few minuets later I decided to just sleep in one of the alley ways I saw since it was getting dark out. As I turned down one I saw a man pushing another man up the brick wall by his neck. The man being choked started to squirm and grab at the man choking him. He grasped the man's wrist the had been grasping his neck and started to claw at it. The man barely even budged. I was too frightened to move and just stared at the scene unravelling in front of me. When the man against the wall slumped down, I knew he had either passed out or was dead. The other man let him fall to the ground and pulled a blade out of his pocket. He hovered over the man and brought the blade down into the guy's chest. A glowing blue light shined over the whole alleyway and seemed to be brighter than the sun.

What the hell was that?

The man who had killed the other stood and pulled the blade out of the dead man's chest. A man appeared from the middle of nowhere next to then man. His image seemed to shake in a wiggly type of way before he was solid. He looked down the alleyway in the opposite direction of me and then turned in my direction. The light from the moon shone down on the man and I knew that he had saw me. He taped the guy who had just killed a man and nodded in my direction. The guy followed his gaze and looked up to see me. I can't believe I even thought this but, Damn that guy is hot. I was so petrified that I couldn't even move. My brain told me to run but my feet just wouldn't listen. The guys had already been walking towards me and were only a few feet in front of me when the ground began to rumble and shake. The guys looked up and then back to me. The second one who just appeared cursed and shook his head as the girl who offered me a place to stay appeared in front of me from midair.When she appeared she was surround by a bluish white glow that was similar to the one that appeared when the first man killed the other guy.

'You shouldn't be here. You know what this town means to us." The girl said.

"You shouldn't be here. You know what this town means to us." The first guy said.

"This is our territory. You demons know what you caused here two hundred years ago. This is ours. No more murders need to happen here." The girl argued.

What the hell? Demons?

"We don't need to follow some stupid angels rules. We don't have to follow your orders." The second guy argued.

"Just go home. Stay away from this town. Never come back." The girl shook her head.

"We don't have to listen to you. We can go ahead and start another war right now. Maybe this one will last three hundred years instead of two." The second guy smirked. "But we don't have time to wait around for a bunch of angels to kill. Let's go." The two guys both did the same thing that happened when the second guy appeared and they did a weird wiggly movement and then vanished.

What the fuck?
