40 minutes of nonstop talk and gossip later, the bell rings and Kate & I walk out of English class. "Bye Aria!! See you tomorrow!" She yells, already heading upstairs to her next class.

I glance at my schedule, which says I have Biology in room 152 with Mrs. May. I don't really know where it is, so I walk go down the stairs and walk around for a while.

'Why do I feel so carefree?' I thought to myself. I'm usually very conscious and uptight about school. Maybe this is what it feels like to have an actual friend. At my old schools, I had tons of friends, but most of them were fake. One time, I told a girl who I liked, and the next day he walked up to me and told me he would never date me because I was a bitch. I just hope Kate doesn't pull something like that.

I followed the room numbers with my eyes. 149,150,151...152. 'Here we go' I thought. I opened the heavy, wood door and looked over the classroom. Each lab station had two tall stools, and the teachers desk was in the corner. I turned around and my jaw dropped. Right in front of me, I saw a 6 foot tall boy with long, curly hair facing away from me (thankfully). "Shit" I muttered under my breath. Harry must've heard me, because he slowly looked behind his shoulder to see me standing right there, probably looking like a complete idiot.

"Stare much, love?" He asks casually, as if he knew I was going to be standing in that exact spot.

"Didn't I tell you not to call me that?" I snapped, embarrassed.

"As if that would stop me" He chuckled lightly, and it was actually pretty sexy. Wait, what? Since when is Harry Style's laugh sexy? Fuck, I swear if I start to like this guy...

"Class, class, settle down" says Mrs. May in a light Irish accent. She seemed pretty nice. She had red, frizzy hair, and a light sprinkling of freckles over her cheeks. I walked to the front of the classroom, about to ask where I sit. She sees me, and before I have the chance to talk to her, she announces: "Class, this is Aria. She is our new student. Do you know anyone here, Aria?" Harry raises his hand. "I know her, Mrs. May."

I glare at him, and as always, he just smirks back. "Great! Alex, could you go sit next to James, please?" She points to the boy currently next to Harry. "Aria, you can go sit by Harry." I grab my backpack and trudge over to the back of the classroom, where Harry is seated.

"What the fuck!?! Why did you do that?" I whisper-yell to Harry.

"All I did was say that I know you, which is very true, like it or not."

"Okay, class, open your textbooks to page 382. Aria, just look off of Harry's. Today, we will be discussing the properties of elodea. Elodea is a very important part of our ecosystem...."

She goes on to talk about how great elodea is, but I couldn't hear her because of the deep voice whispering in my ear.

"So, Aria, I trust you. Do you want to know a secret?"

"No."

He completely ignores me. "Well, love, you see, I like you. And I don't think you like me back. That isn't okay."

"Um, last time I checked, I was allowed to like anybody I want"

"Well, this is London, darling. Things are different here. And why would you not like me?"

I smacked my hand down on the table angrily, and turned to face him. "I don't like you because you are the worst, most jerkey asshole I have ever met." He shifts his chair closer. "Didn't I tell you how cute it is when you're mad?"

"Only about forty times."

"Okay, well I'm telling you again." I give up.

"I'm just going to ignore you."

"I'm afraid that will be quite difficult" He combs a hand through his luscious hair. Despite how much I want to, I don't say a word. "After all, I am quite hard to ignore" he adds, being the self-absorbed dick that he is. Not giving up, he leans over and looks directly at my face. "I just hope you're not this stubborn when we start dating."

Just then, the bell rings.

"Oh, lucky you, saved by the bell! Well, love, it was so nice chatting with you!"

He leaves the classroom just like that.

This boy is going to be the death of me.
