{Aria's POV}

As I walk up the stairs, I realize that I have no idea what my room looks like.

"Dad!! Which room is mine??" I yell down the stairs.

"Whichever one is more pink!!" He belts back, and I chuckle.I walk into the first door on the left.

God.

Let me tell you something: when my dad said pink, he meant pink. This room looks like a bubblegum princess playground. The walls are pink, the carpet was pink, the dresser was pink, the fucking door was pink. The only thing in that room that isn't pink is the white board on the door. In the far corner sits the bed, with an awkwardly patterned baby pink comforter. The desk is right next to it and it is full of pictures. I look closer and see a man and a woman standing by a little boy, a teenage girl, and a small baby in her arms. I don't know why I found this so fascinating. Maybe it was because of the idea of family, something I lost 11 years ago. Whatever it was, I decided that I liked this picture and I was going to keep it. So I put it in my closet and walked away. Now, the only good thing about my room is the balcony. Near the bed, there are two huge glass doors leading to a gorgeous balcony with an engraved railing. Shading the deck was a massive oak tree, leaves glistening in the autumn sunlight. I sighed looking at the lame excuse that was my room. I threw down my suitcase and went downstairs, too bored to unpack.

"Hey Ari, how do you like your room?" My dad asks, genuinely curious as if he didn't know about this pink monstrosity before we got here.

"Umm...well it would be great if I were 4 years old and obsessed with Disney princesses, but alas, I am not so, no, I do not like my room."

"I'm sorry, there were no other choices for it. We can paint it if you want?" "

No, it's fine. Nobody will see it anyways." I gave in, not really caring at the moment. I grabbed a pop tart and my laptop and ran up to my room. I log into Netflix and start watching my favorite show, Once Upon A Time. 2 1/2 episodes and a box of pop tarts later, I heard a tapping at my window. I figure it is just a branch of the oak tree scraping by, so I don't even look up. Then I hear it again. I pause my episode to look up and almost shit my pants as I did so.

"WHAT THE FUCK, HARRY?!?!?!"

Harry Styles was standing on my damn balcony tapping at the window.

"What? I just stopped by to say 'hi'. I'm a very nice person that way, you know" He explains cooly.

'What a dick' I think.

"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!! I ALREADY TOLD YOU I'M NOT INTERESTED!!" I was fuming with anger. He didn't move a muscle.

"So are you coming to the party tonight?" He continues as if I hadn't said a word. I gritted my teeth.

"Get. Away. From. My. House."

"Well, you see love, that would be hard considering that I live next door." Fucking hell.

"Please just leave before my dad comes up?" I practically beg.

"I love it when you do that" He says.

"Do what?"

"Get all frustrated and angry. It's cute."

"Leave. Now." Dismissing him, I close the large doors to my balcony, only to have him open them back up.

"I'll leave on one condition" Harry explains.

"And what would that be?"

"You are coming to the party tonight."

"FUCK NO!" I shout, a little too loud.

"Okay. I'll just sit here then." He leans back on the railing and makes himself comfortable. After a couple minutes, he starts whistling.

"Okay, what do you want?" I break the silence.

"The party?" He reminds me.

"Fine. But you have to leave. Now." I tell him.

"Wear something revealing" he replies, stepping onto a tree branch with one of his long legs.

"Go to hell!" I yell after him. Jesus Christ, what have I gotten myself into?
