The new Eleanor

“Umm hello?” I ask him confused. “Hey, I was uh um. I was wondering i-if you wanted to go out sometime?” He says shyly scratching his head. “I’d love too.” I says sitting up. “O-ok, Maybe Sunday?” He says still acting shy. “That’s alright with me.” I say blushing. “Ok.” He says with a huge smile. He walks back to the pool and does a cannonball and splashes everybody. “Hey!!” Sarah squeals as she fixes her sunglasses back on her face. “Oh sorry he says with a huge smile. “What you so happy about?” Louis asks pointing at Niall. “What do you mean I’m always happy.” He says shrugging. “Thats true but you have a huge grin on your face, what’d you do?” He asks “Nothing Im just happy.” Niall says before going underwater.
I lay back down under the sun and think. Does Louis fancy me? No I think he was just being nice last night. I suddenly realize that Niall Horan, THE Niall Horan just asked me out on a date. It was only friday so I have a few days but still, Is it normal for a guy to ask a girl out on date when they only just met her. Wait he’s part of One Direction so he probably does it all the time. I’ve never really been into guys. In high school boys asked me out all the time but I wasn’t really into dating. So Niall will be my first date.
I hear a phone ring inside the house and Louis gets out of the pool to answer it. He comes back out. “I don’t like being the bear of the bad news but I have to go soon.” He says holding the phone so who ever was on the other end couldn’t here. “Ok mate, I’ll drive the girls home.” Harry says as he gets out of the pool. “We live on different sides of town, are you sure you wanna take us both?” Sarah asks as she dries off with a towel. “I can take one of them if you would like me to?” Niall asks turning towards me. “Sure I say as I get up out of the beach chair. I grab my towel and wrap it around. Me and Sarah change and we come out to find everyone in the main room. “So what do you have to leave for?” Sarah asks Louis as she checks her phone. Speaking of phone, wheres mine? “Hey has anyone seen my phone?” I ask “Yea, its right here. I almost forgot to give it back.” Louis says as he grabs my phone from his pocket. I give him a confused look. “I put my number in there for you.” He says with a grin. “Well, thanks.” I playfully smiling. “Hey wait let me see your phone real quick.” Harry says reaching for my phone. I give it to him and he puts his number in. I heard a click button and Harry reached over to hand me my phone back when Niall grabbed it. After a few seconds I heard another click, and Liam grabbed it. Its like a sharing circle with my phone. I chuckle a little bit. It finally gets back to me and they had all saved their numbers in my phone. Harry grins and hops off the counter where he was sitting, and gave Sarah a hug. “I”ll get to see you later this week?” He whispers to her and she shakes her head yes, and he comes over to me and hugs me. I walk over to the front door and put my shoes on. I stand up and turn to Niall. “Jeesh. You scared me Niall.” I say breathing fast. “Haha sorry I didnt mean to. Are you ready to go?” He asks pointing at the door. “Yea, all set.” I say “See ya guys later.” He says to the others in the kitchen. “Bye!” They all say at different times.

Niall opens the door for me and I step out and wait for him to come up behind me. He walks up behind a blue car and unlocks it. I get in and I click my seat belt. He puts the keys in the ignition and the car roars to life. The radio turns on playing romantic music. I start to blush. Niall quickly turns the music off and apologizes. “So, where are you wanting to go on sunday?” He asks not taking his eyes off the road. “I don’t know I’m not really picky.” I say shrugging. “Ok I have a place in mind.” He says turning to me and smiling. I giggle thinking I have an idea of where it might be. He pulls up to my house and gets out. He jogs around the front of the car and opens my door. He holds his hand out for me to help me out of the car. I grab it and I get out of the car. “Thank you.” He nods his head and walks back to get into his car. “I’ll see on sunday!” He says waving to me as he drives off. I walk into my house and collapse on my bed. What just happened?
