Chapter 13
Shay's POV
I woke up the next morning in Harry's bed. Instinctively I looked over to find him but remembered he wouldn't be there. I pouted a little and then heard voices in the living room. I went out and saw the boys sitting there. "Hey guys." I said sitting in Zayn's lap. "Hey." They said in unison and then there focused turned back to the tv. I nodded at them and got up to call Harry. The receptionist put Harry on the phone and I heard the voice I loved. "Hello beautiful." He said into the phone happily. "Hey babe. How ya doin?" I asked smiling. "I miss you." He whined. "I miss you too. Ill come see you today." I said trying to make him happier. "Come now?" He begged me. I sighed and smiled, "Okay baby I have to shower but ill be over as soon as I can." "Yay thank you! I love you." He said and hung up. I laughed and walked out to the boys. "After I shower and get ready I'm going to see Harry. Anyone want to come?" I asked. "We can't today." Louis said sadly. "I'll tell him you said hi." I said hugging him.
I got to the hospital and walked up to Harry's room. I opened the door and walked in. "Hey baby." I said as I sat in the chair next to his bed. " Hi." He said like a child facing me. I smiled at him but his smile soon faded. "What's wrong?" I asked him. " I wanna get up." He complained hitting the bed. I had to laugh a little and his childness. "You'll be up soon enough." I said rubbing his arm. "Will you lay with me please?" He begged me. I nodded my head and got into bed with him. He wrapped his arms around me and I nuzzled my face into the crook of his neck. I could feel him smiling. "Much better." He whispered into my ear.
We spent the day just watching movies and having fun. Finally I had to leave and I was actually really sad. "I don't wanna go Harry." I sighed into his chest. "I don't want you to leave either but we'll see each other tomorrow." He said giving me a weak smile. I smiled back and gave him a big kiss. "Goodnight baby." He said as I walked out. "Goodnight love." I said back and left. When I got home I got this weird feeling. I wasn't safe. I felt like I should go to one of the boys houses but I couldn't since they were all on dates with their girls. I sighed and tried to ignore the feeling. When I got to the door I was shaking. Something was really wrong. The door was unlocked and this really scared me. I started to freak out and called Zayn. No answer. Niall, no answer. Louis, no answer. Finally I had Liam. I was praying he'd answer me. After two rings he picked up. "Hey what's up?" He asked me. "Liam I'm at home but I'm afraid to go in something's wrong." I said very scared now. "Shay Ill be there soon." He said into the phone. "Please don't hang up." I begged. "I won't." He said back. "Do you really think you could get away that easy?" A terrible voice from behind me asked. I turned around to see Ed. "LIAM PLEASE HURRY HE'S HERE!" I screamed trying to get away from Ed. Ed slapped me making me drop my phone. I was on the ground and my face was bleeding. "You're mine!" Ed yelled. "No I'm not!" I yelled back trying to get away. "Your parents are here." He said grinning and moving so I could see them. I looked up to see them standing there. "Mom Dad please he's going to kill me let me be with Harry please." I begged still on the ground. "Where is Harry?" My father asked. "He's at the hospital. He's been in a comma the past 6 months because of a car crash." I said trying to get up but Ed punched me knocking me back down. "See Harry can't protect you from the hospital." My father said. "What?!" I shrieked, "Ed here is beating me and trying to make me die!" I yelled getting up. "Yes but the public doesn't know that." My father said happily.
"But they can find out." A voice said behind me. I turned around to see four boys I loved. "How do you have proof?" My father asked. "Oh you know just pictures of Ed hitting her." A very sassy Louis replied. I started to move back slowly towards the boys. When Ed noticed this he started to beat me then two boys were on him. I looked and saw Louis and Zayn had tackled him. Niall was helping me to Liam's car. "Don't you dare touch her ever again!" Zayn yelled punching him. My dad grabbed Zayn and pulled him up and punched him square in the face. "Zayn!!!" I yelled trying to get Niall to let go of me. He let go and I ran over to them. I got Zayn away from my dad and Louis away from Ed I stood infront of them both.
"Don't ever hurt my family again." I spat at the people in front of me. "Are you talking to them or us?" Ed questioned. "I'm talking to you and my father and mother you wanker!" I snapped. "But we are your family." My mother said. "Only by blood and that doesn't count. My family is who I choose. Family helps you and loves you they protect you and my family would never ever want me to go with Ed. So no you are not my family. The boys are my family." I said gesturing towards the boys.
"You know what we'll do if you don't go with Ed." My father warned. "I know I will go with Ed to protect my family." I sighed walking towards him. "No!" A familiar raspy voice yelled. I turned around in shock.
I saw his mess of curls and my knees got weak. "Harry?" I asked shocked. "Yes baby it's me the doctors let me out cause they said I was fine." He said coming closer to me. My father stepped towards Harry and I pushed my father back. This seemed to anger him and he punched me. I was on the ground. I saw Harry walking forward but was stopped by Liam and Niall. "Let me get to him!!" Harry yelled. Liam and Niall wouldn't let him go. I heard the sound of police sirens from always and then the world went black.
