Chapter 12
Shay's POV
It had been a week and I had to decide who to go with. After the whole movie incident Ed had proven to be almost as good as Harry. No matter how much I wanted to pick Harry, I couldn't. My parents had found out and threatened to take away my career and the boys career if I went with Harry. I couldn't do that to Harry so I had to pick Ed.
Soon there was a knock on my door. I got off the couch and went to answer. I looked up and saw emerald eyes looking back. I smiled but my smile soon faded when I realized I would break his heart. "What's wrong baby?" He asked raising my chin. "Harry I have to go with Ed my mom and dad threatened me because they found out. Please understand." I said tears falling. He sighed deeply. "I understand, but would you have gone with me?" He asked lifting my face up. "Of course." I said looking into his watery eyes. "I love you Shay." He said voice breaking. "I love you Harry." I said back. He leaned down and kissed my cheek before heading back to his car.
*** 6 Months Later ****
"Please Ed stop." I begged him as he beat me and yelled at me. "No I will not stop because your pathetic and worthless and no one will ever love you." He yelled at me. He then threw me to the ground and looked at me. "I'm going out." He said and left. I grabbed a pillow from the couch and started to sob into it. I needed someone to help me to get me out of here before I died. I needed Harry. I wanted my baby back. I should have gone with him from the start. My phone started to vibrate and a familiar picture popped onto the screen. "Grace!" I yelled into the phone. "Shay oh my god thank god!" She said almost in tears. I heard four boys in the background. "Is that Niall Louis Zayn and Liam?" I asked missing them terribly. "Yes it is. Where are you and what happened to you?" Grace asked me. "Come get me from Ed's please I need help please help me." I begged to her.
After a few minutes they were here. When I opened the door I engulfed Grace into a hug. "Thank god." I whispered to her. "What happened to you?" She asked shocked. "Ed beat me and starved me." I said looking at the ground. "Oh my god." Grace said quietly. "Please just take me away from here." I begged her. "Okay we're going to mine and Niall's house." She said and led me to their car. Her and Niall lived together?
After a 15 minute car ride we were there. I walked inside and it was a nice house. Perfect for Grace and Niall. I went and hugged all the boys, then I realized something. "Where's Harry?" I asked starting to worry. "Go shower and get clean first." Grace said handing me clean clothes and underwear. I sighed and went to shower.
After I showered I came out to the living room to see them watching the Telly. "So where's Harry?" I asked again. "You may want to sit down." Zayn said patting the spot next to him. I sat down by him and looked at them all waiting for an answer. "The night you told Harry you couldn't be with him he was in a terrible car accident and was put into a comma." Louis said sadly. "What? I-I-I mean is he gunna be okay? Will he ever get out of the comma?" I started to ramble but was cut off. "Shay, look were going to see him tonight but the doctors still don't know much." Liam said rubbing my arm. I sighed and felt tears build up. Zayn wrapped his arms around me. "This is my fault." I said into his chest. "Don't say that. It isn't your fault." Zayn said comforting me. "Yes it is. If I had picked him he wouldn't have drove away and he'd be okay." I said tears falling. "Don't ever think this is your fault okay? None of this is your fault." Zayn said sternly. I sighed and leaned into him more.
After 30 minutes we were at the hospital. The boys led me to Harry's room and let me go in. I went to the side of Harry's bed and pulled up a chair to sit. I looked at him just laying their. His chest rising and falling. He looked so vulnerable. I took his lifeless hand in mine and rubbed my thumb over his knuckles. He moved a little bit. I looked up at his face. I got up near his face and pressed my lips to his. When I pulled away I waited for a few minutes and after those few minutes, I saw the emerald eyes I loved.
"Louis boys come in here he's awake he's awake!" I said excitedly to everyone outside. There eyes grew big and they ran inside. Harry was sitting up in his bed just looking around. He looked at us and looked confused. "You look familiar but who are you?" He asked somewhat shyly. "We're your band mates from One Direction Harry." Liam said stepping closer. "Oh yeah. Sorry guys." Harry said awkwardly. Liam went to get the doctor and they all came in stunned.
They had us leave and did test and stuff on Harry. After awhile they let us back in. "Right now he remembers something's but not all. He will remember everything soon but we don't know how soon." The doctor explained and then let us in. I went and sat down next to Harry. "Hey Harry do you remember me?" I asked him holding his hand. "You look like this girl I love." He said sadly. "I am that girl baby." I said making him look at me. "Shay?" He asked stunned. "Yes it's me." I said kissing his hand. "What happened?" He asked sadly touching my face. "Ed beat and starved me." I said back. "Im so sorry." Harry said kissing my forehead. "It's okay Harry. I love you." I said smiling. "I love you too." Harry said leaning down and planting a soft kiss to my lips.
We all just sat and talked to Harry for awhile getting him to remember stuff. Finally the boys decided to go home and it was just the two of us. "I haven't held you since I woke up." He said sadly. I giggled and laid down with him. "I'm so sorry I didn't pick you." I said cuddling into him. "It's okay Shay all that matters is that now you're mine." He said smiling. I smiled back and kissed him deeply. "When I get out of the hospital can we live together?" He pouted. "Sure baby id love that." I said putting my head into his chest. "I want you living there until I get out." He said kissing my cheek. "Oh yeah? And why is that?" I asked him. "Because you have no where else to go." I sighed because he had a point. "Oh yeah." I said a little upset. "Sorry." He said worried. "It's fine." I said smiling back up to him. "I love you Shay." He said kissing me. "I love you Harry." I said kissing him back.
