What Good is a Love Song Without The Love?.....

"Can someone please explain to me how I got sucked up into this mess!" Toby yelled at no one in particular, except herself.
" Look Toby I know you're upset but you need to calm down." Emily told me with what at the moment I could only analyze as a hint of disdain, despite knowing otherwise.
"Emily don't do that to me, not now,"
"Do what?"
"That look"
" What look?!" She replied with slight defensiveness. " I do not have a look!" She went on "Rose, do I have a 'look'?"
"Hey! Don't put me in your argument!" Rose said as she got up from the couch. She came my way "Tobes is right though you do give us a look sometimes."
"What's your thought on the matter Lily? Do I have a look?" Emily said exasperated while throwing herself on the spot Rose had just been on.
"Yes Emily you have a look," she added as a side note "and a voice too. The girls congregated in the kitchen, cereal,coffee,orange juice,and tea made their way around the kitchen counter.
"So what do you plan on doing?" Lily asked followed by a sip of tea.
"Well there's not much she can do she signed a contract" Rose replied from her spot on the counter.
"Rose!"
"What? It's true Emily she signed a contract,and well contracts are binding there's nothing she can do now do. The press have pictures which for the record we still don't know anything about.I'm just being realistic"
"Really not helping"
"Emily its fine, Rose is right," Toby said buthing in "Look on the bright side at least our band gets free publicity?" She said shrugging her shoulders.
"You really need to start talking." said Lily "we can't help you if we don't know what happened."
"Not until Lanas up,"said Toby her nerves rising with every passing minute.
"Well, I'm up," Lana said groggily while sitting up from her spot on the armchair in the living room. "Oh my god does anyone have asprin I feel the beat of the time vortex in my head"
"Here," Emily extended her arms a glass of water in one and two aspirin tablets in the other.
"Thanks Em," Lana said after swallowing the pills "Can you help me g-." She didn't finish her sentence,there was no need to Emily was already helping her up. One hand on her lower back the other holding her hand. "Loosen your grip Em your helping me up from a chair not raising me from predention" she said with an awkward laugh.
"Sorry Lana" Em said quickly,with her head down they walked to the Kitchen joining the rest.
"Here, strong brew with a whole bunch of creamer" Toby said handing Lana a mug with coffee.
"You made my bean water, awww, you spoil me rotten Tobes"
Lana said with a hint sarcasm.
"Lana how do you manage to still make references hungover? I can barely manage simple functions," Rose asked all the seriousness she could muster at the moment in her voice.
"Not important at the moment. What I need to know is about the contract you signed. I heard bits and pieces of y'alls conversation this morning but most of what I got was pacing,some yelling, and a mention of a contract. I was also kind of in and out of if.
"That's basically all we got out of her too" said Lily.
"Well where do I begin?" Toby said aghast of all that had happened in the last 24 hours
"From the beginning."
"I set the scene in 1983 my mom and was walking down the street when she bumped in to a man whom she would later have an affair with in her second marriag-."
"First off Toby that's not even true and second that's too far back," she paused "start with arriving at the club"
" I know I was just-, never mind you should know there are parts I don't remember"
"We'll help you fill in the gaps," she looked at Lana.
"Of course," Lana said reaffirming Emily more than Toby.

Um,so this is my go at this story idea I had two years ago. I got the idea from a Demi Lovato song. I hope y'all like it. Did anyone get the references I made? Leave me feedback in the comments below and I'll be updat this soon. I'm debating character bios, thoughts?. I'm also still debating the timeline for this story(past,present,future).
