Kate's POV

"Kate Petrova" said the guy wearing the headset. I stood up shakily, and walked towards him. "That's me" I said. "okay miss Petrova you and your family can follow me" He said as he started walking away. MY family and I followed him. "Your family can wait here and watch on these tvs. Here is your microphone, Good Luck!" He handed me the microphone and said something into his headset as he walked away. I took one last glance at my mom before I walked on stage.

The judges were Louis, Sharron, and the great Simon Cowell. "Hello darling and what's your name?" Louis asks. "My name is Kate Petrova." I say in a surprisingly calm voice. "Are you American?" asks Louis. I knew that was coming. "Yes my family moved here two months ago. I know its weird for an American girl to audition for the X Factor U.K." I say.

"It is strange what state are you from?" asks Simon. "I'm from Tuscumbia ,Alabama but I moved to Miami, Florida my sophomore year of high school." I take a deep breath. "What are you going to sing for us today?" asks Louis. "I will always love you by Whitney Houston." My voice kind of shakes as I speak.

"Well lets get started." says Simon. I take a deep breath then begin.

"If I should stay I would only be in the way. So I'll go, but I know I'll think of you every step of the way. And I will always love you, I will always love you, you. My darling you. mhmm.

I stop singing, and look at the crowd. Every one is clapping. I then look at the judges, they are smiling. Hopefully that's a good sign.

"That was beautiful" says Sharron. "Thank you" I can barley talk right now. "That was amazing" says Louis. I look at Simon. "That was brilliant." he says. I smile. "Thank you". I say.

"Now it's time to vote" says Simon. I take a shaky breath and nod. "Louis what do you think?" asks Simon. "Well I definitely vote yes that was brilliant." says Louis. "Thank you" I look at Sharron.

"Your voice was a little shaky, but I'm going to vote yes" she says. "Thank you" I look at Simon and get scarred. I hope he says yes. "Kate you've got three yes"
