Chapter Six
I couldn't bring myself to go any closer to her bed. She had tubes connected all over and had to be put on a ventilator. I walked over and sat in the chair next to the bed. I held her cold hand. "Courtney. I know you probably can't hear me but, I just want you to know that you are going to make it. You just have to. Promise me that you will." I told her. Of course she was unresponsive. I went out and just went to Harry. "How is she?" Niall asked. I couldn't bear to tell him how bad she was. But the look on his face told me that I had to. "She's on life support. She doesn't look like Courtney." I finally cried. "I need to go see my sister." Niall said as he left the waiting room. I couldn't believe that this had to happen. I started crying and Harry hugged me tight. "WHAT THE HELL!!!" I heard Zoe say. I turned and looked and saw Louis standing in the corner of the room.

Harry's POV
Louis just had to come and make everything worse. "How is she?" He asked. "Well I don't know why don't you break her heart and then mod back to me." Brianna said. Louis looked hurt but mad. I was getting madder by the minute. Then he did something that couldn't be forgiven.

Louis's POV
That was a stab to the back. I was mad. "You couldn't let that go could you. Instead you had to be a slut and get into a relationship with the player. Face Brianna you are just a fucking BITCH!" I yelled. "I'm the one who did the wrong?! Really Louis! You left me just as I found out I had cancer! You know what you are just a bastard!" She yelled back. I was so mad the next few seconds were a blur. I then realized that I slapped her hard on the cheek. She was on the floor crying and holding her cheek. I couldn't believe I hit her.

Harry's POV
Brianna was on the ground holding her cheek. I was so mad I was seeing red. I didn't want to hurt Louis, I wanted to KILL him. "Why would hit her! What did she ever do to you! I told you three years ago that you were a dick for breaking up with her but now you are an asshole!" I spat. " I-I didn't mean to. I just got mad. I don-" I cut him off. "You don't take your anger out on a girl! Louis listen to me now, stay away from me and defiantly stay away from Brianna!" I told him. He just ran out. I went to Brianna whose cheek was starting to bruise. Liam went to go and get a doctor. "I want to fucking kill him." I kept repeating. Bri was trying to calm me down and asked if we could go home. Niall said it was okay and we got up and started walking out. Bri quit walking all of a sudden and froze.

Brianna's POV
My mom left me and Liam when we were little kids. She just packed up and left. I never thought I would see her again until Harry and I passed the nurses station and saw her. I stopped walking. "What's wrong love?" Harry asked me. I had never told him about my mother and didn't want to either. "Nothing's wrong I just need to ask some questions to this nurse over there." I replied. I kissed him and started to walk over. I went to the counter and she looked at me and said, "Can I help you miss?" "Um yeah you can actually. Were you ever married?" I asked. "Yes I was." "Did you have any kids?" "Yes a boy and a girl." I was getting closer. "Is your name Lily Payne?" I asked. She looked a little shocked. "Why yes I am. What's this all about?" She finally said. "Your daughter what was her name?" "Her name was Brianna." I couldn't believe it. I found my mom. "Would you mind telling me what this is about please?" "My name is Brianna Payne and my older brothers name is Liam. I'm your daughter." I finally said. She gasped. "Bri- Brianna?" "Yes...Mom?"
