Ashton's POV

*The next morning*

I wake up to the thought of the girl that has been captivating my mind. She has taken over all my thoughts and I can't even complain.

I can honestly say that I am really excited to see Sam again tonight. It's only been a little over 24hours, but she hasn't left my mind. No girl has ever had that affect on me before.

I also think she will like my little surprise I have for her. I'm assuming she will know the hosts of the party very well when she sees them.

**A few hours later**

"Hey Mikey, I'm going to text the Sam and see if they will be ready for us to pick them up at 7", I told him.

"Okay, sounds good, I'm about to hop in the shower anyway," he says, "and I still have to beautify myself ", he added in his high girly voice.

We both laughed and I decided to text Sam.

*Ashton*
Hey beautiful, how's it going? Is 7 still good for us to come get you guys?

*Sam*
Hey! Yup, sounds good. Jess just got here actually, we gotta get dressed in our "hot little dresses" lol and do our makeup, but I will make sure I am ready .

Sam's POV

"So Ash just texted, they will be here by 7 to come get us, so lets get ready!", I informed Jess.

"Okay sounds good! It's 4 now so I think we can do this in the 3 hours we have", she said as she began to laugh which made me giggle too.

I had found a short black sparkly long sleeve dress with a deep v'neck mesh front and back. My makeup I kept sexy, but classic. I thought it was hot enough, but not over the top. I didn't want Ashton getting the wrong idea about me, I mean I already got pretty personal with him, but I' no whore.

Jess on the other hand really wanted to tease Mikey all night long. She thought it would just lead to another hot night back at his hotel. She had picked a very sexy, yet classy, red dress with dramatic eyes and light lips to finish off her look.

Not to toot my own horn, but DAMN, we looked HOT!!

I knew Ash was going to love it.

By the time we finished getting ready it was about 6:45.

"Wow, you look amazing", we both said at the same finally taking a step back to look at each other. We both laughed and gave each other a hug.

*buzzzzz* *Buzzzz*

*Ashton*
Be there in a few, driver says we will be there in about 5. You ready?

*Sam*
Yup! We have a surprise of our own! I think you both will love our make overs for tonight!

*Ashton*
Oh baby, now I really can't wait!!!!!!!!!

"So I wonder who their big surprise is ?"

"I don't know, he said we would probably really like them, you don't think it could be..." I trailed off.

"Nah, why would they be in New York?" Jess answered.

"Your right, I didn't think so ", I added.

Within the next minute my doorbell rang.

Jess and I gathered our things and grabbed our bags and we were ready to go.

I opened up the door and the two boys almost instantly started drooling.

"Fuck..", both of them said in sync with their mouths hanging open.

"Um, is there a problem? Because I could go change-", Jess started to say until Michael cut her off.

"N-no, your perfect... you look hot", managed to get out before becoming speechless again.

"Alright so let's go then, we wouldn't want to be late ," I said to everyone.

"Oh ya, come on", Ash said while holding out his hand and still taking me in with his eyes.

We all climbed into the car, Mikey and Jess sat in the middle while Ash and I were in the back.

A few minutes passed and we had sat in silence. I guess the boys were still dumfounded with what they saw when I opened my door.

"So Luke and Calum are already there, they both can't wait to see you guys too," Ashton said to break the silence.

" Ya, but not as much as us though", Mikey added looking into Jessica's eyes.

"So who's this special person we have to meet?" I asked eagerly.

"Well, it's more like a group of people. We are almost there, you will see soon. Just try to keep your cool though", Ash answered and began to chuckle his adorable chuckle.

Jess turned around and looked at me with a confused, yet intrigued look.

I just shrugged my shoulders because I too was very confused.

A couple more minutes had passed of us talking and singing along to the radio until our driver pulled over to the side of the road and told us we were here.

"Yay! Finally!!!", Jess squealed.

We all climbed out of the car and onto the side walk.

"My-lady", Ash said to me as he gestured for me to hook arms with him.

"Why thanks you kind sir", I joked back with him before hooking my arm with his.

Mikey and Jess followed our lead and hooked arms as well as we entered the building.

It looked like a club, but a very high class one, definitely not like the one we were at the other night.

Who would be throwing a party for the sake of it at such a nice place?

The music was blaring, the lights were flashing, the people were all dressed so nice.

Is this what it's like to be a party full of famous people? I swear we just walked passed Ed Sheeran!!

The boys took us over to the bar where Luke and Calum were.

"HEY BEAUTIFUL--SS", Luke shouted over the music looking at me and then at Jess. He pulled us both in for a tight hug which is when I smelled the alcohol on him (not that i couldn't already tell he was quiet tipsy).

"So did they meet them yet?", Calum asked Ashton, "You're both so calm, I thought for sure that.." Calum began to say to us, but Ash and Mikey shot him a look before he could ruin the 'surprise'.

"No not yet, but we are just about to go find them. Have you seen them?", Mikey asked.

"Well three of them are sitting around in that boot over there", Luke said sitting back down at the bar pointing to our right.

"Thanks man. I'll catch up with you later", Ash said.

We walked around the crowded dance floor and over to a VIP boot where three boys sat.

You know, they almost looked like.... NO WAY!!..

I turned to look at Jess who was already staring at me with stars in her eyes.

"Oh hey you made it!!! How've you been?? What took you so long?", said the one sitting on the end of the booth .

He had longish curly brown hair and was dressed in tight pants and a loose patterned shirt. When he stood up to greet us, I could clearly see who it was.

Harry Styles.

"Oh, pretty good you know how tour life is, happy to have these couple of days off though. But we were only late because me and Mikey had to pick up these lovely ladies that we met the other night", Ash said looking at me blushing slightly and smiling widely.

"Ya hey man", Mikey added in and patted Harry on the back. "This is Jessica", he said introducing the two.

Jess stuck out her hand to greet Harry when instead, he pulled her in for a hug.

"Hey, nice to meet you Jessica", Harry said during the embrace.

"And this would be Sam", Ash said smiling down at me again.

"Hey, how are you", Harry said pulling me in for a hug as well.

"Oh me? I uh, I'm good", I said trying to keep my cool.

Next the blonde, blue-eyed one stood up and greeted us the same way.

Niall Horan.

The other boy stayed seated and undisturbed by our conversation because he was occupied by another girl.

It looked like Liam and Danielle.

"I can tell you both know who we are pretty well, but no need to be so proper about it, I can tell your both nervous. Just loosen up and have a good time, that's why we through this party, just to see everyone and to have some fun!!", Harry told us.

"Okay, I think we can do that", I said smiling lightly and looked at Jess.

"Ya, but before we get this party really started, I need to go to the ladies room, so pardon me. Come with me?" Jess asked me.

"Sure, but can one of you get me a drink for when I get back ?", I asked.

"Absolutely, what would you girls like?", Harry said with a big grin on his face.

"Ill take a frozen margarita with salt please", Jess said.

"Hmmm, sex on the beach sounds pretty good to me right now", I added with a wink. All the boys gave me a hungry look until they remembered it was a drink.

All I could do was laugh all the way to the bath room.

"Can you believe it?!?! Not only are we friends with boys from 5SOS , but now the same guys introduce us to One friken Direction! I'm not gonna be able to keep my cool!", Jess said to me as soon as we got into the bathroom.

"Dude, your 'cool' was gone awhile ago", I teased back.

"Well how aren't you flipping out??", Jess asked.

"Oh trust me I'm excited but they are just people Jess, I mean they are really hot, really talented, and extremely famous, but they are honestly probably really chill ."

"That's true, okay let's go back, I don't wanna keep my Mikey waiting forever", Jess dramatically said obviously playing around.

I rolled my eyes and laughed as we made our way back to the table.

Micheal was standing next to Harry who each had a drink in hand.

"Here you go gorgeous", Harry said as he handed me my drink.

I couldn't help but blush, "Thanks".

"So sit with me and let's talk, you seem so ... different, well from other girls I meet."

"Well lets talk until we both start to slur are words because with how good this drink is, they are going down easy", I said and we both began to laugh, "but wait, is being different good?", I asked.

"It's more than just good Sam, it's rare, I don't come across girls that like me for me anymore, they like the Harry Styles from One Direction, who I obviously am, but I'm not just that famous rich guy, you know?" he told me looking deep into my eyes with his gorgeous green ones.

"Of course! I mean I'm gonna be honest, I did fangirl inside for a bit when I met both you guys and the boys from 5SOS, but I know you all want to be treated like normal human beings", I said and we both began to laugh.

"Exactly, but many people don't have that mentality, which is what separates you from them. From what I can tell you and your friend are pretty grounded too."

"Ya I guess we are haha. We just don't seem to think all of this is real life lately, maybe we just don't want to scare you guys off", I teased.

"Well you certainly look like something from a dream tonight", Harry told me licking his lips while taking a look up and down of me.

"Wow, such a smooth talker Mr. Styles", I said trying not to blush.

A few more drinks into the night while sitting in the booth talking more, getting to know each other and Harry clearly trying to flirt with me, I notice something I maybe should have a while ago...

Where did Ashton go off to?

I mean he did bring me here as his date... right?

"Earth to Sam?", Harry said waving his hand in front of my zoned out eyes.

"Oh sorry.. I must've spaced out"

"What's wrong babe?" he asked as he looked in the direction I was staring off to and he saw why I suddenly got so distant.

Ashton was also clearly as drunk as I was, but he was at the bar... not with me... talking to some other blonde.

"Oh Sam, look, he probably doesn't mean it, he is just used to tour life where you don't see the same girl twice and-"

"No no, its okay, I don't care. We never said we were exclusive. I mean we did only meet the other night, Luke's even the one that said Jess and I would stay FRIENDS with them regardless..."

"Oh, well in that case, would you like to dance?", Harry asked me with his sexy smirk.

I thought to myself that if I wanted things with Ashton to work, I probably shouldn't. Why fight fire with fire?

But he is leaving to go on tour again in a day or two, and we really aren't exclusive, soooo

Ah , what the hell is wrong with me?!?!? Harry Styles has ben hitting on me and now he is asking me to dance and I'm contemplating this???

"Well, I thought you would never ask", I replied to him.

Harry got up out of the booth and stood in front of me sticking his hand out gesturing for me to join him.

He led me out onto the dance floor where Louis and Eleanor, Zayn and Perrie, and Liam and Danielle already were.

As soon as we hit the dance floor Beg For It by Iggy Azalea came on.

Harry never seemed the type to like this kind of music, but he pulled me in tight against his front and we started moving our bodies to the beat.

My ass was pressed tight against his groin and his hands had a strong grip pressed against the front of my hips to ensure our bodies stayed connected.

I could feel his hot breath on my neck as we both sang along to the words we knew.

After a few more songs, some intense grinding, and Harry leaving a love bite on my neck, one of the best songs ever came on...

Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls.

"I love this song!!", I shouted out.

Harry spun me around and said, "Me too", and next thing I knew his perfect, moist, warm lips were pressed hard against mine.

"Hey, I just got a new apartment here in New York, would you wanna maybe get out of here and come over?", he asked pulling away from our kiss.

"Uh, ya, I guess so, sure", I responded with a smile.

I had just seen Jess leave with Mikey again, so their probably going back to the hotel again.

Harry grabbed my hand and began to lead the way through the crowd and out the door.

This seems to be another perfect night.. well almost.....

..one thing still wasn't settled in my mind... Where was Ashton and why hasn't he talked to me all night?

Ashton's POV

So tonight was going pretty good, Sam and Jess seemed to be excited about meeting the One Direction boys which is what me and Mikey had hoped for.

I decided to let Sam get to know Harry a little while I talked to some of my friends here at the party and had some drinks.

I found one of my good friends Karli (*She is just a made up friend*) who I promised to bring to NY if our band was ever big enough to play a gig here.

She made it here for our show and we told her to come to the party so we could catch up.

It's been awhile since I left Sam, but I don't want to be rude and leave Karli.. ahh Sam looks fine, she is still contently talking to Harry.

"Ash babe, you look like somethings on your mind.. you keep looking around like you're searching for someone", Karli told me.

"Oh well I uh, brought a new friend here tonight and I haven't seen her since I left her to talk to Harry", I said still looking around.

"Oh, I saw him bring some trampy blonde onto the dance floor. Hey, what do you say we go dance cutie", she said getting closer to me and holding onto my bicep clearly trying to flirt.

"Woah woah.. look Karli, we've been friends for awhile now and I care about you, but Sam is not a tramp! She is really cool, I think what we have could turn out to be something real", I said looking straight at her now, "And plus, when we were younger, you showed no interest in liking me like this, so either it's my new growing fame getting to you, or its the alcohol talking, and I'm not interested in getting involved for either of those reasons."

And just as I said that, I saw Harry talking Sam out of the party.

Where are they going? Did something happen? Or does she just need some fresh air?..

I run after them to see what's up, but the last thing I see is Sam getting into a car with Harry.

I found myself very jealous and protective as I watched them drive off, but what can I do about? I did just tell Karli she was my friend.. we have no attachments..

I walked back into the loud building as my heart slowly began to sink into my stomach.
