Camping Trip

As I we walked aimlessly in the woods, we just chatted about random things that we did that summer. “Ya, I went to a lake earlier in the summer and went wake boarding!” I said with a smile ear to ear. “That would be awesome to do here if only we had brought a boat and board.” Calum stated. “AH!” Rachel screamed as she jumped back into Ashton. “What?” he says, “There’s a snake!” “Where I don’t see one anywhere” “There!” I shriek jumping back hitting Calum. “Oi!” “Sorry” I say with a slight giggle. “KILL IT” screams Rachel “Gosh chill, come on go in front of me and we will go back” “No Ash I like it out here, lets just go a different way” I say. “Ya” agrees Calum. “How about this, since yall want to stay, and we want to go back, let’s race back but the girls have to lead the way” Ashton says proudly. “What?!?!” Rachel and I say back “Ya that would be fun and if we get lost we can blame them, and if they give up we get to lead them back but with their eyes closed!” says Calum excitedly. “Really?” I say with a worried expression on my face. Calum pulls me into a side hug and says “lead the way” “if we get killed by an axe welding maniac, I will hate you forever.” “I guess that’s a good to go!” he says happily with me still in his side hug. “Let The Games Begin!” Ash says.

“We have been walking FOREVER!” I say tiredly “Can you just point me in the right direction?” “Nope” he says popping the p. “Ugggggggg” “just give up and you can be blindfolded and be led by me” “that’s what scares me, for all I know you could push me into the lake or even worse off of a cliff!” “do you really think that im that type of person?” “maybe” I say making him face my back. “Ok, cover your eyes” “Why, I didn’t give up” “because I can tell that you are stressed and want to get out of here” is it really that obvious? I think to myself. “K” I say exhaling a breath “hey don’t worry, its not like I will run you into a tree or anything” “WHAT” “kidding” as he put his hands up in surrender.

We get back to the campsite around noon and everyone was already there. “Where have you guys been?” Brianna asks concerned. “Well this lass led us so far in the wrong direction, it took us 15 minutes to get back on the trail” “was I really that bad?” “Na just kidding” he stated puffing out his chest again. I could hear strumming by the tent so I head over there and see Sasha crying. “Sasha whats wrong?” “Its nothing I swear” I rush to her side and pull her into a hug “Ok tell me whats wrong right now so I can kick someone’s ass” “Its nothing ok” she is being stubborn, ok two can play at that game “If you aren’t going to tell me then should I just go and get Luke instead?” She looked up at me with innocent eyes “Please no, I cant let him see me like this” “Hey its ok, just tell me, I’m here for you” “I want to ask Luke so badley but I just can’t!” she cries, I pull her into a side hug “hey don’t be crying overf a boy, we have two weeks here and I am sort of positive that yall will get to know each other better!” “ok, thanks, ill come over in a little” “ok see you then!” I say as I give her a hug.

I walk back over to everyone and Calum in shirtless with swim trunks. “Oi! Gabby you said that you would swim with me today.” He yells across the campsite. “really right now?” “yep he says with a grin” “will one of yall please come with me?” I plead to the other girls “Na Im good” says Rachel and a nod from Brianna “uggggg, ill be back in a sec” I walk back over to Sasha’s and I’s tent only to see her with a guitar strumming it lightly. “Hey I’m going swimming, wana come?” “who is going?” “Me and Calum, but if you come, I can probably convince luke to come with” I say with a smile on my face. “Na, I’ll just stay here” “k” I change into this

I put a pink tank over it with some shorts.

I walk out and I see Calum’s mouth wide open. I smile shyly and head over to the group. “Hey, are yall sure that you wont come with me?” “Ya were good” Brianna responds for both of them” I send them a pleading look as Calum starts to pull me towards the water. “Wait, I have to take the stuff off” he gave me a confused look then I pointed to my tank and shorts, he gave me and O look. I quickly strip them off and head towards the water. “Wait, is it cold” “I guess you will have to find out” he says with a smirk on his face while he puts a hand on my back and nudges me forward “You jump first” I say “If you insist” he jumped in making a giant splash I guess trying to get me wet “Now you” “Do I have to, is there another way in” “nope, just jump” “no but what if its cold, what if there is an alagator, what if there..” I get cut off my someone pushing me in “Ahhh” I scream hitting the water with the right side of my body “WHAT THE HELL?!?!” I look up to find Luke and Sasha with their swim suits on. “Was that really necessary?” “Yep” he says with a smirk. Calum lifts me up from behind and takes me further into the lake. “It isn’t so bad now it it?” “Not really, I guess.” I say with a little smile. He lets me go as Luke Sasha jump in. “hey guys” Sasha says with a big smile on her face. This is a nice change for her. She normally is just with her books.

I had a feeling that the rest of the time we are here, something would happen between Luke and her.
