Camping Trip

Rachel's P.O.V.

After a while of fooling around in the tent Ashton and I headed into the forest with Brianna and Michael. We went swimming where the boys had brought us a few days ago.

We spent most of the day messing around in the water. When eventually we got back to the campsite I got changed into some 'The Muppets' pyjamas and let down my hair in the hope that it would dry out quicker.

When I headed back out to the campfire Michael was making food and Brianna and Ashton were sitting by the fire chatting. I sat down next to Ashton and seemingly subconsciously he wrapped an arm around my waist.

I rested my head on his shoulder as him and Brianna continued to chat. It was then I heard a loud laugh. Turning towards the tents I saw Sasha and Luke holding hands, giggling. They made their way over to us, sitting down, continuing to whisper to each other.

Only a few minutes later Gabby and Calum joined the group together. He sat down and quickly pulled her onto his lap and I couldnt help but waggle my eyebrows.

He kissed her back twice, whispering to her once he had. I had to grin at the sheer adorableness of it. They were so into each other. It was one of those times where even though you didnt want to stare,you couldnt look away from them.

I was eventually pulled out of my daze by Ashton poking my side.

"Dude!" I feigned annoyance.

He just chuckled.

"Take a picture,it'll last longer" he teased,indicating to Gabby and Calum.

I rolled my eyes.

"Oh hush you" I mumbled.

"Hey -em- do you wanna take a quick walk by the lake? I kinda need to talk to you about something" he asked suddenly looking a tad uneasy.

I raised an eyebrow.

"You dumping me already? After only a day.. Thats gotta be some kinda record" I joked trying to relax him a little.

It was his turn to roll his eyes.

"Don't be silly. Just c'mon" he had stood up at this point and offered me a hand.

I shrugged as I took it and let him lead me away from the group, all of who were watching us with smirks.

He intertwined our fingers as we walked beside the water, far enough away that the others wouldnt hear us.

"So Rach.. Maybe this is a little too much at once. Or maybe it was stupid of me not to ask last night cause really after everything we said one would assume-" he began rambling.

"Ash!" I cut him off quickly. "Whats going on?"

He took a deep breath,stopping walking altogether to face me.

"I was wondering if- Well I was hoping that maybe- I mean only if you want to of course and if you dont it's fine -I just need to know.. Maybe you'd want to.." He trailed off looking down.

"Want to what Ash?" I asked, confused.

"Maybe you would want to be my girlfriend. If you dont it's okay. I mean we havent been on one date. Actually I dont think I even asked you on a date but-"

I cut him off by pressing my lips to his.

When we parted I smiled.

"Yes" I said softly.

"Yes?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Yes I'll be your girlfriend" I repeated,leaning up to catch his lips again.

He began walking me backwards until my back hit a tree. It was then that he deepened the kiss,his hands runningalong my body to rest on my hips. I tugged on his hair causing him to moan softly. It was then that he pulled at the hem of my pyjama top and this time I helped him pull it over my head,too caught up in the moment to even think about where we were.

It was only when I heard Brianna calling my name that reality hit me. Ashton broke the kiss,meeting my eye,his expression worried.

I quickly shoved my top on back over my head and came out from behind the tree to see Brianna and Michael.

Briannas eyes widened immensely and Michael just smirked.

Ashton wrapped his arms around me from behind.

"We just came to tell you that Gabby and Cal were gonna sing the song they were writing" Brianna mumbled,blushing.

She seemed to realise exactly what we had been dgetting to behind the tree.

"But you guys are obviously busy so we'll leave you to it" Michael added quickly, with a wink.

Before Brianna had a chance to say anything else Michael grabbed her hand pulling her away.

I groaned.

"I'll never hear the end of this" I told Ashton,referring mainly to Michael,but to Brianna a bit too.

He chuckled.

"I mean they seemed to know exactly what was happening" I replied, unsure as to how they had caught on.

Ashton prsessed a quick kiss to my neck.

"Rach?" He asked.

"Yeah?"

"Your top is on back to front" he told me, with another kiss to my cheek this time.

"Awwh shit" I groaned.

Ashton just laughed as I fixed my top.

"C'mon, we better get back to the campfire.. Rather sooner than later" I told him.

He shrugged, taking my hand in his once again.

I had a feeling Michael would have told the others already by now but to be honest I didnt really care. I was Ashtons girlfriend and that was all that mattered.
