Camping Trip

Ashton's P.O.V.

My cheeks flushed red at the questions the boys were throwing at me and to my surprise so did Rachels. It was such a foreign to see her cheeks red. Well except for when we had PE in school. She would always get me to ditch with her as she was terrible at pretty much all sports.

But to see her embarrassed was a different story. Rachel didnt do embarrassed. I had known her forever and I had never seen her get embarrassed over anything. Even when she fell or done something stupid in school (which actually happened a lot) she managed to laugh it off.

"You know I think I might just go get dressed. Ill eat when i come back" she announced, standing up from where she was. I resisted the urge to kiss her as she walked by. The fact that I could, knowing she'd kiss me back was insane.

"So, what did you do? Did you make out?" Calum asked once again as Rachel walked away.

"Or did you perhaps do a little more than just making out, hmm?" Michael teased, smirking.

I opened my mouth to respond but Brianna did before I had a chance to.

"Hush, you two. It's their own personal business whether or not anything happened.." She told them.

I nodded in agreement.

"Thank you"

"But did it?" She added, meeting my eye.

Both Calum and Michael laughed anf Gabby just giggled at her. Sasha and Luke seemed to be in their own little world and werent paying attention to us.

I sighed. What should I say? I didnt want to lie to their faces but then again Rachel might get annoyed if I told them anything. Though that was unlikely. She wasn't exactly the most private person Rachel. Still, it was as much her business as it was mine.

I just shrugged.

"I'm sorry guys, your gonna have to ask Rachel.." I told them.

"Oh c'mon Ashton, you know she wont mind" Brianna replied.

Michael nodded in agreement.

" The girl knows what she's talking about" he said as he slunh an arm across her shoulders.

She blushed ever so slightly but nodded.

"Okay so we may or may not have kissed.. A lot. Like a lot a lot.." I trailed off,wondering if the next part was too personal. I finally decided I couldnt hold it in,I was too happy. "And I told her I loved her and she.. She said it back" I finished.

Gabby and Brianna squeled and Michael just smirked.

"So you two are a couple now?" Gabby asked.

I shrugged.

"I err dont know actually. I hope so.. I mean I didnt actually ask her to you know - I guess I just assumed.." I was suddenly worried. Were we a couple? I hadnt asked her to be my girlfriens or anything in case it was too much in the one night. I really needed to talk to her.

"You know you should talk to her about what exactly it is that going on with you two. Its important to know where you stand" Calum added, with a glance at Gabby and i had to resist the urge to raise an eyebrow.

"Right. Well um I'll just go talk to her so.." I mumbled, before heading off in the direction of the tents.

I opened the zip of our tent without really thinking about it and gasped when I did.

Rachel was kneeling in the tent, pulling her hair up into a bun where only a pair of black leggings and and a red lacy bra. Though I wanted to be a gentleman and look away I couldmt draw my eyes from her.

She glanced over at me quickly.

"Oh hey Ash, could you pass the bobby pin there?" She asked, unbothered.

Yup, she didnt embarrass alright.

I nodded wordlessly, handing her the small hair slide.

Once her hair was tied up she turned to me, grinning at my expression.

"Remember what I said about buying me dinner first?" She winked before pulling a blue sweater over her head that said 'NERD'. As soon as she had I pulled her towards me, crasshing my lips against hers.

She kissed back instantly and within a few seconds I had completely forgotten the reason I was there.
