The Law of The Jungle

I sighed and looked out the window, seeing my school right infront of me. Another Monday. How gross.
"You'll be fine," Ashton hummed.
He must've been reading my thoughts because I hadn't said a word about my reluctance. I turned and nodded, giving a small smile.
"Call me if you need anything," he said.
"Okay," i leant in to kiss his cheek.

He knew and turned his face so I kissed his lips instead. I pulled back, blushing brighter than ever before.
"Ashton" I squeaked out a scold.
He grinned widely and laughed, "you're too cute,"
I rolled my eyes, "I'm leaving now,"

"Have a nice day," he smirked.
I shook my head, giving a small smile and got out of the car.
I entered the school and Kasey caught up to me holding hot chocolates in her hands.

"I got you a pickmeup," she grinned
"Thank you," I smiled, "you're a babe,"
"I know," she smirked with a wink.
I laughed and rolled my eyes, taking a sip of the drink.

"So you're part of the pack now eh?" She grinned, "we've been waiting forever for you to finally turn 18,"
"I'm sorry I'm so much younger than everyone," I smiled, "so you gabby and Ryleigh too?"
She nodded, "mmhmm,"

I continued to walk to my locker with her. I still had yet to remove all the pictures and glitter from the outside. I probably wouldn't. She went to hers which was across from mine and I got ready for my day. I looked over my shoulder, trying to find Liam. I could do this, I could end it with him.
I did find him. He was with Zayn this time. I took a breath and told Kasey I would be back. She knew what I was doing and gave a nod of assurance.

I closed my locker and slowly trekked over. He spotted me approaching and he smiled. He smiled?
"Hi babe," he greeted.
Zayn seemed content too. I was only getting more confused. I was expecting hi. To be angry.
"Hi Liam," I mumbled, shuffling awkwardly, "can I talk to you?"
He nodded and Zayn left us in peace.

"I just wanted-"
"Look I'm not mad about Friday," he told me.
"You aren't?" I asked raising an eyebrow, "because if you are, I totally understand why,"
"No, I know that Ashton is your friend," Liam shrugged, "I'm just going to have to deal with it,"
"Well actually Liam-" I spoke up.

He cut me off again. I was starting to get annoyed.
"It's fine, you don't have to apologize," he said
I took a breath, "Liam,"
"What?" He asked
"I-I am breaking up with you," I told him seriously.

He stared at me for a moment. His pupils engulfed his beautiful brown eyes. I started to get nervous.
"It's nothing personal," I added quickly.
"It's him," he spat, "he's trying to steal you from me,"
"Liam," I squeaked, "calm down,"
"No," he snapped, "I'm not letting you break up with me just because he told you to,"
"Liam, I like him, I really do," I told him, "this is my decision,"

He slammed his fist into the wall right beside my head. I gasped and immediately started to run. The bell had already rung, so everyone else was in class. I sprinted down the hallways, trying to get out of the school. Meanwhile, I was grasping around wildly for my phone. I had to call Ashton.

Liam took off after me. I looked over my shoulder and he was quickly catching up. I couldn't see any color but black in his eyes as he chased me with his teeth bared. I found my phone and pushed the 1 to speed dial ash.

He picked up, "Elle? Are you alright?im on my way,"
"How did you know?" I asked as I ran and tried to breathe correctly.
"I can feel that you're scared," he responded, "hold tight, I'm almost there."

I turned the corner and pushed open the back doors, running outside. I tripped as I jumped off the stairs and I saw Liam standing in the doorway of the school. He thought he got me.

He ran over and went to grab me, "if I can't have you, then no one can."

A big blur of blonde fur tackled him. I panted for breath and tried to get to my feet. Liam turned into a wolf with black fur as well. He and the blonde wolf were wrestling and growling.
I heard a thud and turned. Another wolf had appeared. I recognized it to be Ashton. His green eyes were angry as he glared at Liam. He joined the fight and he and the blonde wolf were ganging up on Liam. Calum and Michael appeared in their human form.

"Elle," Calum ran over, Michael watching the fight, "are you alright?"
I nodded my head, "yes,"
He took my wrist, "come with me and Michael. We have to get out of here,"
