Put me on the floor (ON HOLD)

Amber's POV




Just before I reach Zayn and the blonde slut on his lap, strong arms are wrapped around my body; pulling me away from the scene.


"Let go of me," I bark once I recognize the tattooed arms.

"Calm down," Keegan struggles to keep me in place. "Deep breaths," he whispers in my ear.

I close my eyes and obey his order.

Keegan's arms relax around my body, slowly letting me go.


My gun is taken from my hands and I glare at Keegan.

"What the hell was that all about?" He asks with irritation in his voice. "If you're going to do this, I'm going to kick you out,"

"Who the fuck is that?" I bark, pointing to the blonde slut having a make out session with Zayn.


"That's my cousin," he frowns.


"Not him you idiot!" I snap at him, rolling my eyes. "Her!"

"That's his girlfriend," he chuckles at me. "What's it to you anyway?"

Girlfriend?
Girlfriend?
Girlfriend as in they are dating?
Wait, WHAT!?

'If I want something, I can get it,' I remind myself.

I smirk at Keegan and pull him in for a hug. "Sorry about that," I whisper in his ear.


He stands frozen at my behavior and I laugh at him as I pull back.


"Smoke with me?" I ask him.


He probably thinks I'm bipolar. One minute I'm pissed and want to blow someone's head off, next moment I'm kind and friendly, something I never am.


He frowns at me but nods and leads me to the small fire where Zayn is.

I smirk and follow him, pulling my cigarettes from my purse.


"Amber?" A voice asks shocked.


I look at Zayn's confused face and smile.


"Hey,"


"Do you two know each other?" Keegan asks with panic in his voice as he sits on a chair across from Zayn.

"We've briefly met at the tattoo studio," Zayn shrugs as if it's nothing.


Keegan shoots me a worried look and I smile whilst taking a chair next to him.


"This is my, erm," Zayn clears his throat, making the blonde slut look at him with confusion. "My girlfriend, Perrie,"


"I'm Amber," I give her my best smile.


She smiles back at me and stands up from his lap. "I'm going to find El," she pecks his lips before leaving.

The view makes me sick, but I'm sucking it up like a big girl.

Glass is heard breaking from inside of the house, the sound echoing louder than the music, and Keegan jumps to his feet.


"Just a minute," he mutters before running into the house.

"How do you know Keegan?" Zayn asks me as I light my cigarette.


I inhale the smoke into my lungs and breathe it out before answering. "We've been friends for a few years now," I shrug as if it's nothing; I can't tell him the truth about anything. Not while Keegan has my gun anyway.


Zayn's eyes fall to my cigarette and he gulps.


"Do you want one?" I cock an eyebrow at him.


"Perrie can't find out," he breathes before walking around the small fire to sit down next to me.


He takes a cigarette from the packet on my lap and reaches for the lighter in my hand.


I pull it away before he gets it and he frowns at me with the cigarette in his mouth.

I flick the lighter on and hold the little flame out for him with a smile.



After lighting his cigarette, he exhales deeply, a sound that sends shivers down my spine.

"Oh shit," his eyes grow wide as he looks past my body.

I turn around to find Perrie standing at the door talking to another girl.

"Let's go before she sees me smoking," he breathes as he takes my hand in his, leading me to the back of Keegan's yard where the lake is.


I remember this lake, Keegan and I used to spend hours here, just swimming and laughing, having a good time.

I smile at the memory but scold myself; Keegan is the enemy.


Zayn laughs and shakes his head. "First time I'm running away from my girlfriend,"


I smirk at his words and reach for the navy blue box in my purse.

At least he isn't all good, right?

"Let's hit a joint," I wink at him as I pull a joint from the box.


He gives me a worried look but shrugs it off as he throws his cigarette to the dusty brown road, stepping on it.


He takes the joint from my hands but trips over his own feet and we fall to the ground; with Zayn on top of me.
