Behind Enemy Lines
Back in black
"Whats the news?" Calum asked Ash.
"Pretty grim mate," Ashton sighed, "some of the younger boys got in fights and now there's gonna be a huge one on Friday night,"
"Where?" Cal asked
He needed to know where this was happening if he was going to crash it.
Ashton gave him the details. He had no idea of the plan to come back to Australia.
Once Calum got all the information he needed, he told Ash that he needed to go to work. Ashton accepted that and let go. It was set.
They were going home.

"Calum I'm fine," Hayley told him, "I still have 2 more months,"
"I know, I just worry," he sighed
She smiled and kissed his cheek, "I know, and I love you for it, but I'm fine. I swear,"
He gave a small smile back, "I love you too princess,"
They boarded their flight. Calum was calm on the outside when on the inside he was a mess. This wasn't how he was supposed to be. If you told him he was going to be a father and his girlfriend was Hayley almost 3 years ago he would have called you crazy. He was bad. He was a legit drug dealer. And he didn't have a girlfriend. He just jumped around.
But he calmed down quite a bit since he started dating Hayley. He knew that he had to if he wanted to have her in his life. He wasn't the only one that would be affected if he made a dumbass mistake. He had a family to look after now. And he wanted to be there when his son and daughter arrived in the world. The three of them were changing him. Making him more careful about what he did, and smarter as a result.
He knew he was crazy for going back. But it was the right thing to do.

Calum was anxious the whole flight, praying that she wouldn't go into labor early. She remained asleep for the most part of the flight which he was content with. He knew she was getting tired much easier than she used to. Everything was harder with the two babies. Any sleep she was getting was good.
Once they landed, it was a whole other story. Both of them had managed to sleep for most of the flight, which meant that both were wide awake by the time they got to Australia.
It was getting dark. Tonight was the night that the huge fight to settle it all was going down. Calum imagined that if it was not stopped, then there would certainly be casualties. He came prepared however. If Hayley was coming with him, which she certainly was because she refused to listen to him, then he had his gun tucked away. How he got it through security was a mystery.
Once it was time to leave, he made sure she was ready to go.
"Are you sure this is what you want Princess?" He asked
She nodded, "yes,"
He accepted her response, "just promise me you'll listen to me yeah? It's not the safest there,"
She nodded again, "I promise,"
She kissed him and smiled. He grinned lopsidedly and shook his head.
"The things I do for you,"
"Hey, were saving your friends too you know," she pointed out.
"I know I know," he nodded, "this is the right thing, I just get nervous bringing you along. I don't want you to get hurt,"
"These are our families Calum, they are not going to hurt any of us," she told him, "relax,"

"Are you ready to go?" Stephen asked
Ashton nodded and clicked his gun into place, "yessir,"
"Good," Stephen nodded, "watch your back when you're out there,"
"I know," Ashton sighed.
They got out of the car, their group assembling in the darkness. They waited and waited, the only light illuminating the soon to be battlefield was the moon. Headlights disturbed the darkness as numerous cars pulled up into the area. Doors opened and closed as the hood gang assembled themselves as well.
Andrew was upfront, staring down Stephen.
"I was wondering if you would show," Stephen said
"If I would show?" Andrew snorted, "you're the coward here,"
"You shot one of my boys when he wasn't fighting," Stephen spat.
"I told you that we could work this out ourselves Stephen, man to man. We both lost something that night,"
"Your son was no better than the dirt on the ground!" Stephen growled
"My son was far more clever and strong than you give him credit for," Andrew shrugged cooly, "and I think your daughter would have agreed."
"I don't want to hear a word about my daughter from your mouth!" Stephen cried angrily.
"I speak no ill of her," Andrew explained, "I was always quite fond of her actually, because I knew that one day, she and Calum would collide,"
"Your son corrupted her mind," Stephen snarled, "she had so much potential,"
"You corrupted her mind," Andrew said calmly, "you're the one who drove her over the edge that night. You did it for your own foolish purposes. You and me, we could've had the most powerful gang in the city, Calum and Hayley together. but no. You wanted that Collins kid to be the heir."
Ryder was present. He was angered by this entire conversation. He had mourned her loss nearly as much as Stephen did. Sure he was rough with her, but there was still a hint of care deep down in him. He couldn't believe she was gone.
"Shut up," Stephen mumbled, squeezing his eyes shut.
Ashton stepped away. This was a side of his father he'd never seen. It was like a monster was overtaking him, he was breathing heavy and his veins in his neck were bulging.
"You can't take the heat Stephen," Andrew taunted, "it's all your fault that she's gone,"
"No it isn't," he shook his head.
"Yes it is," Andrew rose an eyebrow.
Ashton saw his father reaching for his gun and whip it out. He reacted and knocked it out of his hand, a stray bullet releasing.
He heard a scream, "No!"
He looked up at saw Calum and Hayley. They had just gotten out of the car. Hayley was trying to get to him, but Calum was holding her back. She was crying and screaming out to Ashton.
Ashton couldn't hear much. It was all just ringing. He looked down and saw that he had blood seeping through the fabric of his shirt. His vision went blury and he started to sway.
Then everything went black.
