Mia's POV:

Classes start today and I have never been so nervous in my life. Saying no to Harry was a extremely stupid idea. I actually have no clue why I didn't say yes.

Brooke and I were taking all of our classes at the same time so it's easier and we won't feel lonely at the apartment, but I think that's going to change with her and Niall and everything.

"I'm nervous Mia. This is scary. Orientation went well, but I am really scared!" Brooke said as we got into the cab.

"I am too, don't worry." I said.

"So what are you going to do about Harry?" She asked me.

"I don't know. Maybe I'll ask him if he wants to hang out as just friends and see where it goes." I said.

"Good idea." Brooke said sarcastically.

"You're an ass." I said.

As we arrived at the college I felt totally different. I felt grown up. My first class started at nine and went to ten thirty. My second class started at eleven and went till twelve thirty. I decided to only take two classes a day on some of the days and one or three on others.

The day went by pretty fast. I was waiting for Brooke until she called me saying she was going to have lunch with Niall. Maybe this is more than a one night stand.

I went straight home, put on the coziest clothes I have, and went to go watch TV.

After about three hours Brooke came home with Niall and I was about half way through a tub of ice cream.

"Fat ass." Brooke said to me and I just laughed.

"Hey Niall." I smiled.

"Hey Mia. Why'd you say no to Harry? He's been pretty bummed out. He won't leave his room." Niall said. Really? Now I feel even worse than I did before. I didn't know that he was that sad about it. I thought he just asked me out cause he could.

"I don't know." I said avoiding eye contact with him.

"Alright let's leave the fat ass in her natural habitat." Brooke said. Niall laughed hard.

Before she went up to her room she came and stood behind the couch, behind me. "Babe it's okay. Just go talk to him." She whispered hugging my neck.

"I didn't know I hurt his feelings that bad." I whispered back and began to cry. She held me for a while.

"Niall is it okay if we hang out another time? I kinda have some girl issues to deal with right now." Brooke said removing herself from me.

"Of course love. I'll see you soon." Niall said kissing her on the cheek, and he left.

"We should invite the boys over for dinner." She said.

"Okay." I said back.

Brooke called Niall and asked them for dinner.

"Niall and Harry can come but Louis, Liam, and Zayn are doing something." She said. Well this should be fun.

I got dressed for dinner and went to the kitchen to see Brooke making something.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Making pasta! What does it look like?" She said.

"Not pasta." I whispered under my breath.

"Maybe we should just order pizza." She said laughing.

"Yeah we probably should." I said back and laughed. After we ordered, there was a knock at the door.
