Broken

Mia's POV:

Jake Thompson. I didn't know he got in to NYU. Last I heard he was going to the same school as Charlie but I guess not.

"Okay so what about Jake Thompson?" I asked Brooke.

"Do you want to go out with him? I was talking to him and he told me he really liked you after him and Maya broke up. But he always heard me talking about you and Harry and so he thought that you liked Harry." She laughed.

"I mean, I guess I could give him a try." I said and Brooke stared running up the stairs to our apartment. What a weirdo. I started to walk up the stairs but then I heard a familiar voice.

"Hi Mia." I turned to see Harry and his bitch looking at me.

"Oh hi." I said and continued walking. Harry grabbed my arm and I turned back around, two steps higher than him so I was just a little taller than him.

"What." I spoke harshly.

"How are you?" He asked. Looking into my eyes.

"She's fine Harry. Let's go." The whore said.

"Didn't your mommy ever teach you to keep your mouth shut? Or was she spending to much time with it open?" She gasped. I heard Harry start laughing and I continued to walk up the stairs.

"Bye Mia!" Harry yelled after me.

"Bye Harry! Bye skank!" I turned around and winked at her. In return, she flipped me off and I did the same back.

I got inside the apartment to see that Brooke was on the phone with someone.

"Okay, okay I'll tell her. Okay, see you soon. Bye!" She said into the phone.

"Let me guess? Jake Thompson?" I laughed.

"The one and only." She replied laughing.

"So...?" I asked wanting her to spill the details.

"You have a date tonight at seven. He's taking you bowling so don't dress that nice." Brooke told me.

"It's five-thirty now!" I yelled and ran to my room trying to pick out what I should wear.

"BROOKE! I NEED HELP!" I yelled and she came running in.

"WHAT MIA ARE YOU OKAY?" She asked worriedly.

"I can't figure out what to wear!" I screamed and fell onto my bed. And suddenly felt someone hitting me.

"I" Hit. "THOUGHT" Hit. "SOMETHINGHAPPENEDTOYOU" And then she started just hitting and hitting it was actually pretty funny I couldn't stop laughing.

"I'm sorry!" I said. "But help me! I don't know what to wear!" And she finally got off me.

After looking through my clothes we couldn't figure anything out. And it was already five-fifty five.

"I'm going to call Niall, he's good at this stuff." She said and picked up her phone.

By the time Niall got here it was six.

"So you have a date." Niall said smirking and nudging me.

"Shut up and help us." I said pushing Niall to my room.

After about ten minutes of Niall looking at my clothes, he had decided.

"Here." He said handing me a light wash colored sweater, black jeans, and my white converse.

"Wear your hair up though." He added.

"Niall you're a genius!" I said.

"Okay loves, I think my work here is done." He said and kissed Brooke on the lips.

"Thank you Niall!" I yelled after him.

"Yeah, yeah." I heard him mumble then laugh.

I got dressed and Brooke put my hair in a ponytail with a braid that wraps around my head like a headband.

I am so ready for this date.

Harry's POV:

After a long, long day with Caitlyn, I couldn't stop thinking about the way Mia's blue eyes locked with mine. I didn't really care much for Caitlyn anymore. I just can't believe I'm still not over Mia. I think I may, be in love with her. She's so beautiful and her voice is so sweet. And she knows how to defend herself. She's perfect.

I walked into the apartment to see that only Niall was there, sitting on the couch watching football.

"Hey mate." I said and sat next to him.

"Hi Haz."

After about five minutes of silence Niall spoke up.

"Listen Harry you still like Mia right?" He asked.

"Yeah, I really do." I admitted blushing.

"I have to tell you something." Oh no.

"Okay." I said gesturing for him to go on.

"Mia is going out with a guy named Jake Thompson tonight. They've known each other since high school and apparently he's a really good guy." Niall said.

"I just thought I would tell you before you found out a different way." Niall said. I nodded.

"I'm going to bed then I guess." I sighed and walked to my room.

"I love you Haz!" I heard Niall say before I shut my door.

I should've known Mia would've found someone. How could I have been so stupid to let her slip through my fingers.
