Back Together Again
Prologue
*Elliot's P.O.V*
I walked back on to the X factor stage, I could feel the rush of familiarity run through me. I closed my eyes and just felt the aura around me. I could distantly hear the yells and cheers of fans yelling for mine and my ex partner's name. I heard the stage door open, I opened my eyes and smiled turning around to see Simon walking towards me. I couldn't help but let my giddiness get the best of me; because my feet decided to get a mind of their own and start running towards him.
When I got close enough I pulled him into a long hug. He instantly hugged me back. We both pulled apart and grabbed each other's hand and look towards the audience seating.
"How does it feel to be back on the X factor stage dear?"
"It's great, Si. You are and were the greatest mentor for me." We dropped each other's hand as we turned to face each other.
"I'm so happy you called me to help you mentor your team. To be honest, I'm surprised you didn't call Niall instead-"
"El, there's someth-"
Simon was cut off by someone throwing the door open. I looked over in the direction where the person was coming from; and I was not ready for it. When the figure stepped in the light where I could see his face a scowl was etched on my face.
"Horan."
