Leave Your Lover
Chapter 29
Vivian's POV
Waking up to the sound of rain hitting the earth was officially my favorite thing in my "new" life. I yawned as I dragged my body over to my window. I withdrew the curtain covering my window and gazed at the wet earth. What does beautiful look like, one would ask me. Well that's simple; the earth. I open my window so the smell of the rain could occupy my room and turn around before walking again. I sighed at the sight of my room. Louis and I never finished my room, so there was one wall that still needed painting, and that was the wall we planned on doing art on. I pushed the thought of Louis aside; I decided that today I would concentrate on only myself. Louis said he had an interview with Zayn anyway. I had a shower, brushed my teeth and dressed before making my way downstairs in the empty house in my grey sweater and skinny jeans. I remembered that my mother told me I wanted to be a chef, so I decided to give my "old life's" liking a shot. I searched the kitchen for a recipe book and found one with my name written on in a fancy font. I opened it and searched for something I liked; not long after starting my search, I found a lasagna recipe. My mother had made lasagna before they left, so I decided on that. I opened the recipe book on the page of lasagna and walked back to my room to collect my cellphone. I sent my mother a text, telling her that I miss both her and my dad dearly, and that I hope they are safe. After finishing with my text, I put my phone away and walked back to the kitchen. I gathered all of the ingredients I needed for my desired dinner, then started off on the lasagna.
I continued my cooking and found myself actually enjoying it. I understood then, why I wanted to be a chef. Just as I started the white sauce with the cheese in, something happened. The same thing that seemed to happen a lot in the last few days, except, that time, it wasn't only about Liam or Louis, it was about a few people.
"What are you making for dinner?" My mother asks as she enters the kitchen. I smile at her as I mix the white sauce.
"Lasagna," I tell her.
"Can I throw the cheese in already?" Liam groans from beside me.
I giggle at him and shake my head.
"Stop stealing my best friend!" Louis shouts as he folds his arms in front of his chest in a childish manner.
"Stop being a child," Perrie giggles, earning a stern look from Zayn. "Sorry babe," she mutters, looking down to her hands folded in her lap.
"Can I throw the cheese in now?" Liam groans again, pulling my attention to him.
"Yes, Liam," I roll my eyes at him as I continue to stir the white sauce for the lasagna. As I stir, cheese falls into the white sauce and a strong arm wraps around my waist as I'm pulled to a hard chest.
"Liam, hm?" Liam mutters in my ear.
"Baby," I whisper.
"Good girl," he breathes in my neck, making a soft moan escape my mouth.
"I'll never get tired of doing that to my fiance," his lips brush against my ear as he speaks, sending shivers down my spine.
I gasped and the spoon I was mixing the white sauce with fell to the floor. I turned off the stove and rushed to my phone. With shaky hands, I finally found Liam's number and hit call.
"Vivian?" He answered after the second ring.
"Come to my house," I breathed. There was silence for a few seconds, before he spoke again.
"I'm on my way,"
