One Direction Preferences
Something Spooky Happens (Pref. 1)
Niall: It was a chilly October day and to you and Niall that meant a lazy day. So you and Niall were watching Cupcake Wars on TV. Suddenly an awesome idea popped into your head. “Hey Niall.” “Yeah princess?” “I think I am going to go and make some cupcakes.” “Ok I can’t wait!” Niall followed you into the kitchen and kissed your cheek. After an hour you had a dozen confetti cupcakes baked. You left the kitchen for a second to answer your phone that was upstairs. Niall was sitting in the kitchen when you went upstairs and when you came back into the kitchen you couldn’t believe what you saw. “Niall!” you yelled even though he was right next to you. “Why did you eat all the cupcakes?!” “I didn’t I swear!” “Then why are they gone?” “I don’t know they just disappeared.” “Yeah right.” Just then you spun around to see a cupcake floating in the air. The cupcake was then chucked right at Niall’s face. “Niall oh my gosh.” You suddenly and silently forgave Niall and ran over to your icing covered boyfriend trying not to laugh. “Something tells me those cupcakes don’t want to be eaten.” you both laughed but turned your heads sharply at the sound of a knife being pulled out. To your horror the knife was coming towards the both of you. Niall picked you up and ran out of the house to his car. You both got in and drove to Liam’s house where you crashed for a few days while Ghostbusters investigated your house.
Harry: You were talking to (Your/Best/Friend) at 10:30pm when the conversation got quite interesting. Both (Y/B/F) and you loved to freak each other out, it was something that oddly always brought you closer and (Y/B/F) was just telling you about the study she recently read. “Hey Y/N I was on Google the other day looking up interesting studies and I stumbled across a shocking one.” “Cool what did you find?” “Well have you ever woken up between 2 to 3 in the morning?” “Well yeah who hasn’t?” “The study I found says that if you wake up between 2 to 3 in the morning it means someone is watching you.” “Oh that is creepy.” Your friend kept talking but Harry sleepily walked into the room so you watched him carefully. “Y/N can we please go to bed?” Harry whined. You knew he was tired so you said goodbye to (Y/B/F) and got into bed with Harry. You were peacefully sleeping when you felt the sudden urge to wake up. When you finally decided to open your eyes you turned to look at the clock. The red digital numbers made your eyes squint but you could make out that the clock read 2:30am. Your mind quickly zoomed back to your friends study. You lay awake looking at the ceiling when suddenly you heard a pounding in your hallway. You softly turned your head to look out your bedroom door and a straight up and down light darted passed the door. Freaking out by now you shook Harry awake. “Harry wake up!” you whisper yelled. He was hesitant at first to open his eyes but finally did and spoke. “What is it Y/N?” “I just saw something zoom passed our door and I keep hearing footsteps in the hallway.” He listened intently for a moment before he heard it also. “Its okay kitten nothing will hurt you if I’m here.” Since you both were too scared to go back to sleep you just watched movies and cuddled all night.
Liam: You woke up in the middle of the night wrapped up in Liam’s arms when you looked to the side of you and were suddenly fully awake. What you saw was terrifying. On the wall there was a shadow of a man. Slowly (so you wouldn’t wake up Liam) you grabbed your portable lamp and turned it on. The figure suddenly vanished and you turned the lamp off. When the figure didn’t return you put the lamp back and drifted back to sleep. The next day you didn’t say anything to Liam since it went away and the figure didn’t return. But that night it returned again and you got worried whatever this was would hurt you so you gently woke up Liam. “Hey Liam wake up.” Liam was awake in seconds. “What is it babe?” “Last night when I woke up early in the morning I saw a shadow that looked like a man on the wall and when I turned on my lamp it was gone but its back tonight.” You were full on trembling now so Liam comforted you. “Its okay baby.” Liam looked to your wall and saw the shadow. “Can I see your lamp?” You handed Liam your lamp with curiosity because you had no idea what he was thinking. “Now look at your wall.” you slowly looked at your wall and the shadow was gone. Liam had not turned on the lamp which meant the shadow was from the moon glistening off of your lamp. You blushed and Liam could see your pink cheeks in the moonlight. “You’re too cute babe.”
Liam wrapped his arm around you and you slowly fell asleep as you knew you were safe with Liam.
Zayn: You and Zayn were in the living room watching TV when the power went out. “Well that’s disappointing, I’ll go and check the fuse box.” Your fuse box was outside and as soon as Zayn said this you were up stopping him. “Wait out of all the horror movies we’ve watched together you know it is a better idea just to stay put.” “But this isn’t a horror movie.” “Just stay please.” Just then the kitchen lights flickered on and off. You jumped into Zayn’s arms and he chuckled. “Now do you want to go and check the fuse box?” “Yes.” you said embarrassed. Zayn went to the kitchen and grabbed two flashlights then you and Zayn walked out into the pitch black together. As you were about to turn to the wall your fuse box was connected to and you got more terrified. Zayn could see this so he protectively wrapped an arm around you and you instantly calmed down. Then as you were facing the fuse box wall you saw a person with a ski mask on. The person removed their mask and it revealed Louis. “Louis!” you screamed. “Was she scared mate?” Louis was now on the ground laughing. “That wasn’t funny Lou.” You turned around and 3 other masked people jumped out at you. “Ah!” you screamed. But then those masks came off and there stood Niall, Liam, and Harry. Everyone was laughing including Zayn. “Zayn did you know about this?” “No.” “Then why are you laughing.” “Because you are cute when you’re scared.” You turned the corner and marched into the house plotting ways to get the boys back.
Louis: You were peacefully folding clothes when Louis burst through the door panting. “I...was...just...chased...home” “Well you know that’s what happens when your famous.” “No they weren’t fans.” Louis said as he could finally talk in sentences without panting. “How do you know?” “I don’t think fans would hide every time I turned around.” “They could have been shy fans.” “Shy fans wouldn’t stalk people home.” “Well you know what they say shy fans can be the most mysterious.” Louis laughed and walked over to you. “So I’m going to go watch the tellie.” “Okay I’ll be right there I just have to finish folding these clothes.” “Then I’ll wait for you.” Louis was watching you intently and you found it kind of creepy. “Louis stop staring at me its creepy.” “Why?” “It just is o-.” Just then you were interrupted by the stove turning on. “Louis did you turn the stove on?” “No I was sitting here just watching you.” You shrugged and turned the stove off then you and Louis went to watch TV. While you were watching TV you had a clear view of the kitchen and when you glanced at the kitchen all the chairs were pulled out and rearranged. So you got up and went to go organize the kitchen. “Ah!” Louis was in the kitchen in seconds. “What’s wrong Y/N?” You pointed to the cupboards and writing in read said ‘ ‘I know where you live’. Louis picked you up and ran to his car. Once you were in he got in and said “I told you I was being followed.”
