I Never Knew

Niall woke me up at six o’clock for my drivers test at seven. I didn’t mind though I had to get a shower and get dressed. So I jumped in the shower washed my hair and my body then I dried off. I slipped on a pair of shorts and a blue short sleeve shirt.Because it was supposed to get up in the high nineties.

“Hurry up or I am leaving you!” he yelled

“I’m coming don’t get your panties in a wood.” I said
I came down the stairs at six thirty,Niall was about to leave until he turned around.

“It is about time,now let's go.” he said trying to stay calm

So it took us about thirty minutes to get their. So when we got there, we got out and walked in there was a woman at the desk playing on her phone.

“Excuse me i am here to take my driver’s test.” I said looking at her

“Please state your name?” she said while typing

“Maddie Haron” I said

“Oh,yes you have an appointment at seven, you may go ahead and you stay here.” she said pointing at Niall

It was seven-thirty when we got done talking to the women.So I think i did great, I think I aced the test.I was so nerves that my leg started to thump really fast.But it was a matter of minutes before I got it and ….. I did, I aced the test of course I did why did I doubt myself. So we left and I was driving. We were almost home when someone got hungry, so I stopped at Hardes and got use something to eat. So we went on home after that. When we got home there was someone sitting on the porch.

“Niall who is that?” I said

“Your babysitter” he said smiling

“ What,why!” I said madley

“Did you really think I would leave you alone on your birthday at home?” he said

“Well I would think so.” I said

“Well you thought wrong then,I also needed somebody to give you your birthday present.” he said

“Fine lets go see who that is.” I said

“His name is Ashton Irwin by the way.” he said looking at me sternly

“OK!” I said getting mad

So I stopped the car and we got out. We started walking up the sidewalk until Ashton comes and hugs Niall . Then they stopped and Ashton started to stare at me, it was kinda weird.

“And who is this Niall?” Ashton said looking at me

‘“This is Maddie the one you are babysitting.” Niall said looking at me as well

“Well I thought she was a lot smaller and younger” he said looking confused

“Well how old did you think i was?” I said looking even more pissed

“Umm nine years old.” he said looking at me

“Kinda think about you look around my age.” he said giving me a wink

“Well don’t give your hopes up.” I said giving him a smirk

He didn’t really look that bad, he was about a foot taller than me. He had light brown hair with hazel greenish eyes and a sparkling smile. He was wearing a blue jean hoody with a black t-shirt. And a pair of blue jean shorts with a pair of flip flops.

“So lets take this inside.” I said looking at them both

When we got in the door it was about five o’clock. So I started cooking supper while Niall and Ashton were upstairs packing Niall’s bag. I fixed green beans, fried okra, rolls and baked chicken with sweet tea. I set the table so we could eat. When i finished it was about five forty.

“Time to eat.” I hollered where they could hear me

They started to run down the stairs and started to fight about who sat beside me. I thought it was a little cute fighting over who sat where.

“Ok girls quit fighting and lets eat before you leave.” I said sitting down while Ashton pushes me up under the table

“Oh yeah, you do have to leave in a little bit.” Ashton said sitting down

“I know quit reminding me, ok.’” Niall said

“Ok!” We yelled while smiling at eachother

So we ate in silence after that, all I heard was chewing and crunching from the baked chicken and okra. When i got finished, Niall was about to leave without saying goodbye to me.

“Hey did you forget to say something.” I said holding out my arms

“No, why did you?” he said smiling

“No” I said

“Well I better get going, bye y’all see you in four months.” he said waving goodbye

Well now it is about nine o’clock when he left.

“Well i am going to bed .” I said looking up at him

“Ok,well goodnight .” he said while giving me a kiss on my cheek

• “Goodnight” I said walking up the stairs smiling
