Stuck in the Middle
Chapter 2
Lucy's pov:
I ran down the alley, running for my life, when I reached a dead end. I was trapped. I turned around and there he was.... I didnt know his name, I didn't even know what he looked like, I could barley see his face. I screamed for help I had no where to run and no one was around. Then all of a sudden I felt a hand on my back and a voice I was so familiar with asking me if I was okay I rolled over to see Harry with a very concerned look on his face I sighed it was only a dream "Are you ok?" he asked again "I'm fine thank you. I was just having a bad dream," I replied "Must of been pretty bad, you were crying" he said worry in his voice. I was crying? I hadn't even realized I was crying. I brought my hand up to my face only to feel where the tears had run down my face. " Thank you Harry for waking me, I dont think I could have endured another moment of that dream," I said. "Anytime Love, Now do you want to go back to sleep or do you want to talk and get your nid off ofthings?" he asked. "I think I can go back to sleep" I said finnaly realizing how tired I truley was. I rolled over onmy side and tried to go back to sleep but the thought of being by myself to face those dreams again haunted me. " Harry will you cuddle with me?" I asked. "Of course love" He said. I quickly fell asleep with Harry's arm protectivley around my waist. I woke up to an empty bed and the smell of bacon? Is someone making bacon? I walked down stairs and into the kitchen to see Harry dishing out eggs and bacon onto 6 plates. The rest of the boys were all sitting at the table laughing at something Louis had said. "Good morning sleeping beauty" Louis said "Good morning" all the other boys said in unison. "Good morning" I said. "Harry hurry up with those eggs, I'm stariving over here" Niall whined "When are you not starving Niall?" I asked playfully. "Hey, a growing boys gotta eat" Niall said. "I'm pretty sure you're only growing wider my friend" I said with a playful hint in my voice. Niall playfully punched me in the arm as Harry set all of our food out. "So Lucy we were going to take you out tonight and show you some of our favorite parts of town that you hav yet to see. How does that sound?" Liam asked "That sounds great" I said excited that i had something to do. "Do you mind if Maddi comes too? She would love to meet you guys." I asked "That's a great idea Lucy" Louis said. "Thanks Lou I'll go call her and tell her what we are doing" I said and turned to go back to my bedroom When Zayn said "Can I take you guys shopping and get you an outfit before we go?" "That would be perfect" I said not really wanting him to spend money on me but I could feel Harry's eyes on me and I wanted to make him jealous allthough I'm not sure why. Why was he so protective of me? Why did I fell the need make him think that I liked someone else? Oh well I just hope tha Zayn dosen't get hurt in the proccess. I went upstairs and called Maddi "Hey girlie are you doing anything tonight?" I asked her "No ma'am I am not what did you have in mind?" She asked "Well the boys and I were going to go out and around town tonight and I thought you would like to join us?" I asked her "that sounds awesome. I can't wait to meet them. What am I going to wear?" She asked panic setting in. "Relax I've got that covered Zayn is going to take us shopping to get the perfect outfit be over in an hour?" I asked "Okay See you soon" she relpied and hung up "I turned arouod and jumped at the tall curly headed boy standing in my door way "Lucy" he said " Harry" I replied "Can I help you with anything?" I asked "No, Nevermind" he said and then walked away. Oh well I thought, today was going to be perfect and nothing was going to ruin it even Harry.
-------------An Hour Later------------------
Maddi had been here not even 5 minnutesand Zayn was already telling us to hurry up with the introductions and get in the car we didnt have much time to go shopping but it was just enough to pick out the perfect outfit. We arrived at the mall and led Zayn to our favorite store we immediatly gathered a handful of outfit ideas and went into the dressing rooms to put on a fashion show for Zayn. WE got back home to get everyone else and headed out.
We first went to Nado's because Niall was starving, of course, we ate there and then we went to this beautiful park that had a litle pond with a walk way. all around us was art that people had done and put here for people to enjoy it was beautiful, I had never seen anything like it. There was a band playing inthe corner of the park adn Louis and his girlfriend Eleanor ran over to it and started to dance along with Liam and his girlfriend Danielle. Harry looked at me and went over to Maddi and asked her to dance thinking that it would make me jealous but I was already one step ahead of him. I grabed Zayn's wrist and pulled him onto the dance floor. It was mean what I was doing to Zayn but I couldn't let Harry win. It was a slow song so Zayn and I were close I was enjoying his company but when he leaned down and planted his lips onto mine I knew that this had gotten out of hand. I could feel Harry's eyes on us which is why I didnt want to immediatly pull away, I wanted Harry to go out of his way to get me, I was'nt just going to fall at his feet and be his. he would have to try. I finally pulled away and looked up at Zayn and I could tell he felt the same way as me, we were just meant to be friends. We continued to dance and talk. "Zayn we are just friends right? Nothing more." I asked "Yeah, sorry about that, it's just that yiou looked so pretty and I couldn't help myself. it didn't feel right though" he replied blushing. "Okay I feel the same way, let's just keep things the same way." I said. Harry came up to us and said "Can I talk to you please?" I could tell he was annoyed. I looked up at Zayn and he gave me a look that said go ahead. We walk over to the pond and sat down. "Yes, What is it that you need to talk about?" I said. "Do you like Zayn?" he said without making eye contact. "No, I don't we are just friends" I said starting to grow annoyed if he was just going to ask me questions I was going to go back. "then what was that kiss?" He growled angrily "He just kissed me, we both agreed that we should just be friends, why does it matter though it's not like you can tell me who I can and can't like" I said my voice raising. "It matters because I like you"
