Luke's P.O.V.

As Alice walked away from us all of our eyes immediately followed her ass as she walked with purpose over to the guests.

“Damn! That is one hot rich-girl!” said Michael. Calum and I immediately turned around and gave him a death glare. “Ok, ok fine! I wasn’t planning on pulling anything anyway, god!” he said to both of us.

Once Calum saw that I was glaring at Michael as well, he turned his frustration onto me. “You to Hemmings. Alice is mine if anyone’s.” he said.

Before I could answer him, John interrupted. “Come on guys! We really do have to get ready.” We all walked over to our mics and silently went over the set list and the lyrics. As we were doing that, I noticed a crying Alice being dragged to the bathrooms by who I assumed to be her friend. I glanced over at Calum and saw that he hadn’t seen the distressed girl. I snuck away from the guys and stood in front of the bathroom door. I couldn’t hear what they were saying, but I could tell that Alice was really sad about something.

Suddenly there someone shouted from inside (I’m assuming Alice’s friend). I couldn’t make out exactly what the voice said but it was something along the lines of “5 Seconds of Summer… checked you out…”. I giggled when I realized that Alice had told her friend about how we had all been staring at her boobs when we first net her… What can I say? They were impressive. When I saw them first all I could think of was her panting underneath me as I caressed her in all of the right places. Or even the wrong ones… Snap out of it Luke! Suddenly the talking stopped inside and I could tell that they were about to come out.

I quickly pretended that I was just walking up to the restrooms. They both walked out talking and stopped when they saw me. I smirked at them and introduced myself to her friend.

“Hi there. I’m Luke,” I said, and sent a wink in Alice’s direction. She blushed and nudged her friend who was laughing at my forwardness.

“I’m Kate, and I’m guessing that you to have already met,” she said still giggling.

“In fact we have. Would you mind if I had a moment alone with Alice?” I said, trying to sound as chilled as possible when really I was freaking out inside.

“Of course,” she said and gave Alice look that only they seemed to understand. Alice rolled her eyes at Kate and turned to me.

“I just wanted to apologize about how we um… acted when you first introduced yourself,” I said awkwardly.

“Um… it’s ok?” she said, obviously wondering the real reason why I had sent her friend away.

“Also,” I said, gaining a little more confidence, “I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere after this party is over,” I said suggestively. I stepped forward so that she was in a corner and her only exit was past me. “I would hate to have a wonderful night like this go to waste,” I said as I leaned in and put my hands on either side of her head. Our lips were now centimeters apart and I noticed her take a sharp breathe in as she closed her eyes. I was about to smash my lips to hers when someone cleared their throat behind me. Alice’s chocolate brown eyes snapped open and she lightly pushed me off of her.

I turned around in annoyance to see who had ruined the moment to see Calum glaring at the two of us.

“Um… I have to go now, it was nice t-talking to you L-Luke,” she stuttered and rushed away.

“What the hell man?” I yelled at Calum.

“What do you mean ‘what the hell’? I clearly told you that she was mine!” he said. I couldn’t believe this. He spoke about her like a piece of property.

“She’s not mine and she’s certainly not yours! We just met her. You have no right to claim her, she’s not an object!” I yelled right back.

“Oh don’t try to pull that ‘taking advantage’ shit on me. You were just feeling her up in a corner!” he screamed in outrage. He did have a bit of a point, but she had gone along with it. If she had told me to stop I would not have hesitated in getting off of her.

“Look, let’s not get into a fight over a girl. How about we just see where this whole thing goes alright? We’ve been friends forever, we can’t let this get between us,” I said, calming down slightly. Calum’s eyes softened and he nodded his head.

“Sorry mate, it’s just that when I saw her, I felt like I’ve never felt about someone before. The way that she talked, even if it was just for a minute gave me a strange feeling of need for her in my life. I know it sounds weird, but I can’t help it,” he said apologetically.

“All right, calm down lover boy,” I said laughing. “You just met her okay? Just give it some time before you buy a ring?” he gave me a playful glare and was about to walk away when I stopped him. “Oh, and Calum?”

“Yeah?”

“I didn’t know that you felt that way. I’d be happy to back off if that’s really how you feel about her,” I said a little guiltily. To be honest, I didn’t really know Alice at all and although she was really pretty and all, I was fine with giving up on her if it meant that Calum and I would stay friends.

“Thanks mate, I really appreciate that,” he said. I could see the sincerity in his eyes. “Now come on! First song is in 3 minutes!”

“Oh shit we better go!” I said running past him towards the stage.

HOLA!!! It's so weird writing from Lukes' perspective! At first when I wrote this chapter I said that he got hard but that was too weird to write so I took it out... Hope you like it!
