The drive from the airport to Everwood Falls didn't take as long as I thought it would. I'm exhausted, I couldn't fall asleep on the airplane and both flights together was about 7 hours. As we drive up to my street a wave of relief washes over me. I missed home, I missed the warmness of my parents' house, I missed my parents. Though I really enjoyed the trip.

The truck comes to a stop in front of my house and I open the door jumping down from the truck. The wind blows my hair in my face and I take a moment appreciating my surroundings. The leaves laying in the street in front of our house, the bright yellow flowers my mother and I had planted a few years ago, the big tree in our front yard. I walk to the front steps of the big house in front of me and open the door. This place is so beautiful. "Honey," I hear my fathers voice as he makes his way to me from the kitchen.


"I'm glad you're back," he kisses me on the temple and I smile up at him. I've missed him so much. "Hi daddy. Where's mom?" I ask as I put my bags on the floor next to me. "In the kitchen, let me go call her," he gives me a small smile then walks to the kitchen. I pick up my bags deciding that I should take my bags up to my room meanwhile but a knock on the door interrupted me. I placed my bags back on the floor and walked to the door. I open the door to find a curly headed, green eyed dimpled boy. "Well hello there, love," he smiles brightly at me, his thick British accent ringing in my ears.
