Dark hour

I was honestly so exhausted, I heard Blair calling my name while I was sleeping and honestly I knew I could not get up because I was so exhausted. I was up all night studying. I opened my eyes, I know that I didn't get enough sleep because all of that studying was locked inside of my head. Blair was looking at me, eager for me to get up.

“Lace, you're going to be late, I came to pick you everyone's in the car waiting.” She said

“I can't, I'll meet you there.” I said with a sad look on my face. I had to get at least a 30 minute nap. I will be able to take my car. She nodded her head and then walked out my room.

I closed my room door and sighed.

My eyes shot open and then I grabbed my phone and looked at it, and I had 15 minutes to get to school on time.

I jumped out of bed and then grabbed a blue top and some jean shorts and then ran into the bathroom and took a shower.

Once I got out the shower, I had brushed my teeth and decided to let my hair air dry because I didn't have time, I had checked my phone and it said that I only had 6 minutes to be on time for school. I had grabbed my shoes and car keys and back pack and headed out the door, I had got into my car and then put on my shoes and then sat my back pack in the passenger seat then put the key in the ignition and then tried starting it, It was not starting, I groaned and then tried again. I didn't do anything.

I hit my steering wheel and groaned and then sighed loudly, I had grabbed my phone out my pocket and then thought on should I text Blair to come and get me, and I just thought she was in class already.

I looked through my contacts and then came by a number.

“Liam.” I whispered and then had a long pause before pressing the button, I waited and waited for him to answer.

“Hello?” He said in a tired voice.

“Hey, It is me, Uh, Lacie.” I began and then gulped. “Are you going to school today?” I asked him.

He was quiet for a moment and then I heard him mumble 'shit' and then heard him moving around. “Yeah, Why?”

“Well, my car stopped working and I was wondering if you could come and get me because my friends had already went to school.” I said softly begging that he will say yes.

“Yeah, just give me some time.” He said.

“Okay.” I said and then I heard him hang up the phone.

I stepped out my car, and then went to back to my house, My brother was already gone. He was getting a ride from his friends, he hung with the varsity jocks and I just thought he shouldn't he should hang with the people that would get into less trouble, but what do I have to say, he is a growing teen.

I had heard a car honk in about 15 minutes and then I hopped up from the couch and then made my way towards the door, I grabbed my back pack and then I seen Liam's car in the street. I had locked the door behind me and then I ran out to his car and then he unlocked the door and then I sat down in the passenger seat.

“Thank you.” I said softly looking at him.

“You're welcome.” He said before pulling off and then drove to school.
