Harry’s POV

Everything was going according to plan. My arm was rested on the back of Sarah’s chair while she leaned into my side. She was beginning to warm up to me just like I knew she would. Niall winked at me from his spot on the couch across from us and I couldn’t help but grin back.

“I-I need to go…” Sarah told me.

“Come on! It’s only midnight!”

“Harry…my mom is going to kill me. Can you please take me home?” Maybe it was the way she spoke, in a soft whisper, that made me want to listen to her every command.

“Fine,” I said and stood up. She took my hand and I led her out of the house.

“This is your car?!” She asked, surprised as she eyed my black range rover.

“Yes, why is that so surprising?”

She shrugged. “I don’t know…I just thought of you more as the motorcycle-leather jacket type.”

I chuckled. “There’s a fine line between punk and bad boy, my love.”

I helped her into the car before getting in myself.

Sarah’s POV

I watched as he lit a cigarette, held it between his lips, and squinted at the road.

“You should probably stay away from me.” He said, without looking at me.

“And why’s that?”

“Because I’m the guy your parents warned you about when you were little.”
