Chapter 1

Sky's POV
"I get it Aisha, he broke your heart." I said trying to soothe my crying friend.
"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND SKY. He wasn't supposed to get engaged to her. I-I waited for so long, he betrayed me Sky, he betrayed me." Aisha started crying harder.
Apparently her crush got engaged to his long-term girlfriend. It was a one-sided love which was quite obvious. I wonder if he even knew she existed.
"God, what am I gonna do now. My life is ruined. I have no reason to live." Aisha threw her hands exasperated. Her head rested on my shoulder and my favorite top was now drenched in her pool of tears.
"Chill Aisha. It's not like you didn't know this was going to happen, you knew it all along. And you even knew how much Zayn loved Perrie."
Yeah. You read that right. She was crying over Zain, no Zian, no Zayn oh whoever the eff he was, as if I cared. But Aisha? Oh she was nuts for him and it was kinda annoying. It's not that I hate One Direction or something but I don't go 'Omg, they are so amazing, I wanna lick their kneecaps and have sex with their eyeballs. I want them to kiss my funny bone and make out with my knuckles.'

I'm mad.

"OH MY GOD! Did you guys hear? ZAYN MALIK GOT FREAKING ENGAGED!" Sam barged inside my room and came running over to hug Aisha.
Now, how the hell am I supposed to handle these two crazy directioners? I pity myself.

"Shh darling. I completely understand how you are feeling right now, but its not like your life is over. You still have Niall, Louis and Liam and Josh. Cheer up!" Sam tried comforting Aisha. Tried.
"I think you guys are right. I need to move on. He was just a guy... just a hot guy... just a mysteriously angelic looking hot guy... just my whole goddamned life! How am I ever gonna get over him?!" Aisha sighed.
What am I even supposed to answer?
"Um, jump over a picture of Zayn and you'll get 'over' him." I stated, matter of factly. And I regretted, I regretted it, big time.

Mental note- Never ever ever ever ever mess with directioners unless you want to die.

"Shut up Sky! Aisha, You'll get so many guys, darling. Look at you. You are so gorgeous." To my relief, Sam replied.
Well, I do agree with her. Aisha looked extremely hot with all the curves at the right places and those long black hair which complemented her Asian skin tone.
Same was with Sam. Both Sam and Aisha were from India. Both of them were extremely beautiful, both had dark hair but Sam's hair were a bit shorter and wavy whereas Aisha's were straight, falling till her waist.

"Right Sky?"
Huh? What? Were they talking to me?

"Sky! Were you even listening to what we have been telling you?" Sam yelled.
"Erm sorry. I just zoned out for a while" I shot a creepy smile as Sam rolled her eyes.
"Dumbass. Anyways, I think I will take Aisha with me for a drive." Sam said as Aisha got up and straightened her shirt.
"Yeah, I think you need a break from all this Aish. Just forget about all this, okay?" I said looking at her and hugging her. She nodded.
"Now, why don't you go to a nice spa and treat yourself?" I tried cheering her up knowing how much she loved spas. Seeing a small smile creep up on her face made me grin happily.
I waved them a goodbye and saw them drive off in Sam's red Mercedes.
After closing the door I let out a breath of relief. Finally! It was just me and only me. Mom was out on a business trip.
Anyways, Did I introduce myself? I don't think so.

My name is Scarlett Anderson better known as Sky. I am 17 years old. I am just a simple girl who goes to a simple high school. Well, I would not call my school simple, it's a place where you will find cars from Mercedes to Porsche. We'll come on to that later on.
I am an ordinary student studying in this posh school on the dependence of my scholarship.
I am a straight A grader student but I'm not like those nerds. I am simple and I have simple friends. It's not like I'm not very social. I know almost everyone but it's only Sam and Aisha with whom I'm extremely close with.

But the moment they start fangirling over their favourite band, they forget my existence. I hate it when they ignore me. Sam and Aisha know each other way before they met me and they're really close,like really-really close. Sometimes I feel like I'm intruding in their world but we've had this discussion before and now it's all cleared up. What I like the most about them is that even though their parents are loaded they're very down-to-earth.

It's not like I'm very poor. My mother is a business woman and stays away most of the times dealing with her business.
My brother goes to college, so he doesn't stay with us. My brother is a loving son and a very caring brother. He is well built with broad shoulders and perfectly chiseled cheek bones. Dark blonde hair fall perfectly over his temple and those deep chocolaty eyes. He is just perfect.
You should really see what girls do to get along with him. It's really funny.
But he's not a player, he works really hard to excel in his studies and help my mom with the bills.
Being the only man in our family he is very responsible. After Dad's death he became extra protective, caring and very responsible.

I love my family. My little world revolves around my family and my friends, there is no space for extra emotions. I just want to achieve all I've dreamed of in my life, and 'love'? It gets you nowhere but down.
And that's not where I wanna go. I want to fly and touch the sky just like my name.
My dad used to say, 'Always focus on what you want, it'll take you where you want to go. Just a little bit distraction and you crash right back down'.
