It's been 5 hours since my mothers outburst on me. It's been quiet in the house. I know my dad isn't home he won't be until later, but I need to check to see if my mom is home. I walked over to the window, my mom's car wasn't here. But to be safe I'm going to to double check the house. I opened my door and looked down the hallways no one there. I walked over to my parents room and opened the door, no one there. I checked the two bathrooms, still no one. I ran downstairs to the living room, no sign anywhere. Okay last place to check, the kitchen. I quietly tip-toed to the kitchen and peeked through the doorway, nope no one. I did a little borough dance then ran back upstairs. I grabbed my phone off of my bed and dialed Zoe's number, after two rings she answered. "I'm ready!" I said excitedly. "wow the wicked witch of the west isn't there?" she asked surprised. "nope. Just get here and quick I don't know when she left." I said quickly  "alright on my way!" then she hung up. Now all I have to do is wait. I grabbed my bags and threw them two of them on my shoulder and my backpack on my back. I sat down on my porch swing waiting for Zoe. I heard a car pull up, it's my mom. Fuck! fuck! fuck! What am I going to do?! I started to quickly walk down the drive way.  "Morgan!" I hear my mom yell. "Morgan!" I started to run, I was in the middle of the street I looked both ways and ran to the left. I looked behind me and my mom was just standing at the end of the driveway. I heard honking I quickly turn around and saw a truck coming at me quick. I jumped out of the way just in time. I was on the sidewalk on side, I almost just fucking died. I curled up in a ball and bawled. I'm so scared, I heard a car pull up near me. "Morgan." I hear a soft voice say. "Morgan?"  my best friend kneels down by me. "what happened?" she asked nervous. "I almost got hit by a truck." I answered. I'm still in shock. "are you okay." she asks. "I'm fine. Can we just go?" I asked standing up. "yeah but we are going back to the boys place." she answers. "that's fine." I said getting in the passengers side. Zoe got in after me and just started driving. The car ride was silent no radio or anything just pure silence.
