Keeping Isabelle
Three
Harry wiped his mouth, clearing his throat as he put the cloth napkin down. "Excuse me." He said and left the room.
I sighed, thinking I made him upset.
I got up, pushing my chair in, and collecting the dishes Harry and I had dined on. I went into the kitchen, which was equally ginormous, and ran the sink water on.
After I washed the dishes, I heard Harry's footsteps on the stairs. I grabbed a rag and turned, wiping my hands. Harry came in, coughing a little, making me look up.
"I'm sorry," I said, putting the cloth down.
"I'm sorry, too," he said, then looked behind me. "You didn't have to do that, Isabelle. I could've washed the dishes." I shrugged.
"I'm used to doing it, I guess." Harry nodded, knowing I didn't want to go back into any history any more than he did. "Harry, I'm very tired, you wouldn't mind if I slept here tonight would you?"
"Of course, you can stay here as long as you like, Isabelle." We started to walk up the stairs.
"I won't be staying here long, Harry. I know they're gonna track me down." I follow Harry down a very long wooden hallway. "I don't want to put you in harm's way."
Harry opened a door, and showed me the bathroom that was connected to it. Harry showed me his room in case I needed him, and then left me alone in the hallway without a word.
