120 days without her, 5 months of pain... I was still feeling low and I was still in love with her.
Emma´s P.O.V
Many things had happened since December.. like Eleanor and Louis got engaged, I was so happy for them, El looked radiant whe she showed me the beautiful ring, I was still in touch with her and we were really good friends I gueess that´s why she asked for my help to set up an engagement party, I couldn´t say no and I felt bad for her beacause Louis was barley there as he was always in tour, so I helped her with everything.
It was May, 5 months since James kissed me... I was feeling better, I mean some days I still woke up with the blonde irish boy in my head but I had James by my side so I didn´t have time to feel lonely.
Now I think I was in a relationship with James, we were happy, I mean I wasn´t as happy as I was with Niall but it was fine, I guess... He was with me every weekend at Cambridge.
"Hey babe! only two more weeks and we will have the summer of our lives!" James said to me as he hugged me, the thought of summer made me smile. I was definitely ready to spent hours and hours just laying on my bed eating with Ethel and staying in pijamas the whole day. This summer was going to be great..
I felt those two weeks like two days.. Finally I was going to sleep, suddenly I remebered... tomorrow´s the engagement party! I called Eleanor and she told me that she wanted to talk to me to fix some little details, so I took the next train to London to meet up with her.
We had a lovely and busy afternoon, she was so happy and I was happy for her. When I was about to head to Ethel´s flat Eleanor invited me to her flat so I could see her wedding dress, this girl was going pretty fast I mean the wedding is like in two months, I didn´t tell her that and just accept the humble invitation.
I helped her to put the dress on, once she was ready I looked at her up and down for like twenty times, she looked gorgeous, it was a beautiful dress on a beautiful girl, I hugged her tightly we were having a really emothinal moment, when suddenly we hear Louis voice:
"El! Babe I´m home!"
We broke the hug and she ran into the bathroom so Louis couldn´t see her, I ran to stop him.
"Hey Lou!" I said as I hugged him, it was the fist time I saw him since I was with Niall.
"HEY! Emma!" he said with a happy and confused tone. "Did she showed you her dress?"
"How do you know?" I said with a mischievous look.
"It´s like the twenieth time she tries on that dress and it drives me mad because I can´t see her and I´m dying to.." he said with a little bit of anger in his voice, I couldn´t believe how cute they were.
Eleanor finally came out just to run and hug Louis, I was almost crying by this moment, James was cute but he wasn´t Niall. I felt how I was staring at them so I shook my head and start walking towards the door.
"Are you leaving Em?" Eleanor said with a sad look
"Yeah, it´s late and I´m dying to see Ethel"
"Wait up.. I will ride you home" Louis said as he took his car keys from his pocket.
"Oh no! I´m fine I will walk"
Eleanor gave Louis a kiss and he followed me.
The trip was kind of akward, hes wasn´t talking and I didn´t have anything to say... so he drove in silence, he only answered with small words to my questions that were kind of riduculous.
We arrived, the car stopped, I was about to say good bye when he suddenly said
"Listen Emma, I know you are with James now, but I have to tell you this..." by this moment my hands were already shaking, I knew that if he said Niall I was going to cry like a baby... I was scared. I swallowed as he continued "Niall is broken... he really loves you, all the boy and I are always trying to cheer him up but he seems really depressed, also we wanted to tell you this.. beacuse we want you talk to him, I mean you don´t have to be again with him but maybe you could help him to feel better" when he finished I just said good bye and ran to Ethel´s flat, with tears in my eyes... What have I done?
