What You Don't Know
A Leap in Time
I felt a small tug on the hem of my dress.
"Mommy?" My daughter's small voice whispered.
"Yes, baby?" I leaned down so I could see her.
"Have you seen Brody?" Rory giggled.
"No, why?" I chuckled.
"We're playing hide n' seek with Niall." She nodded.
"Hide and seek, huh?" I started to tickle her "Trying to cheat, are we?"
"NO! NO!" She giggled madly as I tickled her ribs on the laundry room floor.
"Okay, well run along." I patted her butt, but followed her when she ran out. Her chubby 6 year old legs carried her across the living room. She spotted a ruffle of blonde hair peeking out from behiend the coffe table!
"NIALL!" She giggled runnig to him.
He disapeared and got closer to Rory. "Aw man you found me!" He pretended pulling her into a tight hug. How cute. I smiled at my giggling child.
"Now wheres Brody?" I played along, obviously seeing my giggling son hiding behiend the curtains.
"I dunno, Mommy." Rory heald up her hands in a silly way.
"Is he..BACK HERE?" Niall threw the curtains back and grabbed Brody, who squirmed violently and laughed his head off.
I chuckled at me kids. I rember the day I had them, Liam and I had decided against ultrasound so we wre unprepared. But, sure enough, a couple of twins popped out, and here we are. My beautiful children.
Brody took my hand in his, imediatly I felt a zap of electicity, hearing his thoughts. Yes, my children have powers. Niall's genes obviously kicked in.
(Brody looks just like Liam, right?)
"Wheres Daddy?"
"In the shower, sweety." I answered through him. He released my hand and nodded.
I watched my kids, run, and play. Eventually, while wrestling, Brody fell backwards, scraping his knee on the coffee table. Rory immediatly grasped Brody's wrist and concentrated on the cut. After about 30 seconds the skin laced back together and sucked in the blood like a sponge. Healiung a useful power.
Liam ran in the room, in crisp, fresh clothes.
"HELLLLOOO!" He screamed letting out kids jump on him
"DADDY!" Rory yelped and wrspped her arms around his neck. Unfortunatly, Rory and Brody are Niall's real kids, although they don't know, so they didnt get the amaing telapathy power Liam has. But, they got brand new, unique powers I love.
I love my family.
I love my nanny.
I love my life.
I exchanged glances with Niall, who smiled back. Then gave a grin to Liam that shot one right back at me.
What isnt to love?

Love you, all my readers. Sorry to end the story just like that, but ever get that feeling when you really just want to get a story done so you can write one you've been thinking about? Probably not....but uhh....Okay, well thats how I feel.
