Year Two

Lizzie's P.O.V.

The night I was suppose to be studying, Michael ended up dropping by, so not much studying was done.It was more like a popcorn fight and some movies.When he left it was late so I just went to sleep and now I regreted it.I should have studied. That test looked like a foreign language to me.But my music test was simple.

Now, I'm in a taxi headed home for the break.I watch the familiar streets pass by as i get closer to my house.I pay and thank the cab driver before walking in with my duffel bag.

"I'm home!"I shout but hear nothing in response.I walk around and find a note in the kitchen from my dad telling me he's sorry and he'd be back around dinner.It was just my dad and I since I lost my mother when I was younger.

I look at the clock and see it would be a while until he's back. Within 10 minutes I was bored. I looked at my contacts to see if there was someone to call.My eyes landed on Michael's. Without much thinking I pressed call.After a few rings he answered.

"Lizzie?"

"Nope I'm a dinosaur. "I say.

"Oh no, I'm a Dinosaur. You're more like a lizzard."he laughs

"Whatever,"I say

"So what are you doing?"he asks

"Not much just being bored.What about you?"I ask which was the start of a very long phone call.

"Lizzie are you home?"my dad calls out. I look at the clock and see Michael and I have been talking for hours.

" My dads home.I'll talk to you later."I say.

"Bye Lizard"

"Bye Dinosaur. "I respond smiling before hanging up.
