chapter 50
Harry’s p.o.v
Zayn soon passed out he must have been stressing out. I picked him up and carried him home once we got to the apartment everyone was crowed around me.
“Where the fuck have you been?” Rachel said
“I went for a walk.” I said
“You found Zayn where was he.” Louis said
“on my walk I was just wondering I ended up in Emma’s street I got hit with a car after that I had a run in with her dad I then got to the end of the street I was leaning against a tree and that is when he was about to lunge for me he had gold eyes but someone shot him with an arrow and that’s when I found out it was Zayn and we talked then he passed out.” I said
“What is Zayn?” I said placing Zayn in his room
“We have no idea you saw him what did he look like?” Louis said
“All I saw was his silhouette, but I did see that he had gold eyes but he looked human.” I said
“Wait I know what he is tonight was a full moon wasn’t it.” Rachel said
“Yeah so what is he?” I and Louis said.
“He’s a were wolf I figured out what the slight change was to his scent was it was like a dog my senses were telling me to stay away since he is a were wolf.” Rachel said
“Wait how is Zayn a werewolf did he get bit? “ Liam said
“Maybe he was born a werewolf but it hasn’t developed till now.” Rachel said
“maybe he was biting one night I was meant to meet with Zayn and he didn’t show up so I went to his apartment and waited there since I have a key for emergencies I was about to leave but Zayn came through the door I didn’t think anything at the time but he looked like he was in pain he told me he felt ill so I left maybe that night he was biting.” Niall said
“Or maybe he was just ill.” Liam said
“Doubt it that must have been when he was bit when was this Niall?” I said
“Last Sunday.” Niall said
“So that was only 4 days ago I thought development for a werewolf would have took longer.” I said
“No Harry you could be biting the day before the full moon and you will still change into a werewolf the transition of a werewolf isn’t complete till the full moon.” Rachel said
“wait so when Zayn was bit he wasn’t a werewolf till tonight?” Louis asked of course he wouldn’t understand.
“yes Lou that’s right.” Rachel said
“wait so what are we going to do about this Zayn almost killed me tonight if it wasn’t for him getting shot with an arrow so how will he control it.” I said
“we will have to help him.” Liam said
“wait who shot him with an arrow.” Louis said
“Hunters.” Rachel said
“wait there are werewolf hunters as well as vampire slayers/ hunters.” Niall said.
Zayn’s p.o.v
I woke up with a pounding head I looked around to see that I was in my room I walked out of my room and into the sitting room everyone was sitting talking
“What the fuck happened tonight my head is killing.” I said
“it will be the full moon taking effect on you.” Rachel said
“What does the full moon got to do with me.” I said
“don’t you remember what happened?” Harry said
“no I remember getting out the showe lying on my bed then I felt like was burning so I went back in the shower full clothed then I got out that’s all I remember.” I said
“ after that we presume that you held the sink and put to much pressure on which caused it to smash then you jumped out the window.” Rachel said
“I remember that now yeah I got out the shower I still felt like I was burning then I looked in the mirror and my eyes were gold my hands were on the sink I then felt so much pain I collapsed to the floor breaking the sink on my way down then that’s it.” I said
“well we don’t know where you went but harry what happened once you ran into him.” Rachel said
“well I didn’t know it was you but I saw a person who had gold eyes I just stood there then you went to lunge towards me but someone shot you in the left arm I pulled it out and you healed you were talking to me as you healed and it left both of us confused then your eyes flashed again once I asked what you were and then you passed out.” Harry said
“wait so what am i?” I said
“Zayn you’re a werewolf.” Louis said
“I am how?” I said
“Well Niall told us how on Sunday you were both meant to hang out and meet somewhere but when you didn’t show up Niall went to yours you then showed up a few hours later and you looked in pain but you said you were ill what actually happened.” Rachel said
“well that day I came back from Bradford but just before getting into London I ran out of petrol there was a petrol station just up the road but where I was standing was empty I grabbed the petrol can in the boot to take to fill up and I was walking it was about 9 o clock so it was dark and it was quiet I picked up my pace as I thought I heard something I looked around no one there I heard a deep growl but saw nothing I reached the petrol station and filled the petrol can up and walked back I heard the growl again when I turned around I got slammed onto the bonnet of my car I looked at my attacker he had red eyes I thought he was a vampire until I looked at his hand that was pinning me he had long claws I asked him what he wouldn’t tell me all he said was that he was the alpha and I will be a beta whatever that is he bit my right side and toke off saying he will see me soon I filled my car up and left when I got home Niall was there but I told him I was ill once he left I put a big patch on it the next day after recording I went to the bathroom to check on it but it was gone I was really confused but then I thought maybe it was just a dream and that’s what I told myself.” I said
“ well Zayn I can tell you this mate it wasn’t a dream.” Louis said placing his arm over my shoulder.
“I don’t turn into a complete wolf do i.” I said
“we aren’t sure but tonight was a full moon so you would have been in you wolf form and Harry said you looked human you must be half wolf half man like the wolf man.” Louis said
“ok this is weird.” I said sitting on the settee putting my head into my hands. “ does this mean I’m going to become some weird wolf thing every full moon.”
“most likely for the first 4 or maybe 10 full moons you will change but once you can control the change you won’t change on the full moon.” Rachel said
“Ah fuck sake.” I said
“what’s wrong.” Liam said
“WHAT’S WRONG SERIOUSLY I’M A FUCKING DOG HUMAN WELL WOLF THING AND YOUR ASKING ME WHAT’S WRONG HOW AM I GOING TO BE AROUND PERRIE IF SHE ASKES ME TO BE WITH HER ON A FULL MOON WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE ARE ON TOUR AND WE ARE IN HOTELS ON FULL MOONS YEAH THIS IS JUST GREAT GRRRR.” I shouted “GRRRR” I didn’t realise I was growling
“Zayn are your growling?” Niall asked I started to breathe heavily.
“Zayn are you ok.” Rachel asked I looked up to her. “your eyes are gold Zayn your going to change.” Ignored her I fell to the ground
“Fuck this hurts help.” I said I was sweating
“Zayn control your heart rate calm down it’s the only way you will stop the change.” Rachel said I tried to calm down but nothing worked. I felt my nails growing longer I felt my canine’s get longer and sharper I felt my ears get longer and pointier.
“Zayn think of Perrie.” Ally said. I knew the change was almost compete as the pain was slowing and I could feel hair from my side burns and down my jawline I couldn’t stop it and that’s when I wasn’t myself.
Rachel’s p.o.v
Zayn’s going through the transition we have tried to tell him what to do to stop it but he hasn’t managed he looks like he is going to pounce on one of us any moment but it will be the blood lust since its about 3 or 4 in the morning and the moon is still up.
“Zayn this isn’t you calm down.” I said he obviously ignored me as he just growled at me.
“Looks like we are going to have to do this the hard way Harry, Louis we need to hurt him pain should bring him back to his normal self.” I said
“how do you know so much about werewolves?” Louis asked
“I’ve met a few over my journey and of course me being able to read minds I learned how they controlled themselves on full moons.” I said
“Ok how do we hurt him?” harry said
“just chuck him against a wall or punch him just be careful he is really strong being the full moon.” I said I walked up to him harry was being me to the left Louis the same but to the right I chucked him against the wall but he just got up he threw a few punches to me but I dodged them Harry and Louis were behind him and tried to attack but Zayn managed to knock them straight out. I picked Zayn up and dropped him to the floor I stood over him and picked him up and dropped him a few times making him hit his head a few times after the 3rd time he changed back to himself he backed away and sat in the corner of the room.
“i- I’m so sorry Rach I- I didn’t mean to do that I wasn’t myself I swear.” Zayn said he was frightened about himself I walked over and sat next to him I picked his head up so he was looking at me.
“Hey Zayn don’t worry we will help you find your anchor and you will control this we will get though it ok just try not to let your anger take over or your heart beat rise and it will be fine.” I said and gave him a reassuring smile
“thank you Rach.” He said pulling me into a hug.
