I woke up at 9 am. Anna had left a note on my bed saying adopters would be here around 10:30, and if I would help tidy up a bit after I ate breakfast and got dressed. I decided to get dressed first.

I put this outfit on and did my hair. Thank goodness I did my hair before my make up, because I started crying because my mom taught me how to do that iPod. And also, do NOT ask why I dressed like a working mom from the 80's! If you still want to know, it's because I felt like it.

I walked down the stairs to the dining room, heels clicking against the hardwood. When I walked into the room, everyone stared at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Your outfit, looks so, so old fashioned. I love it!" Shawty shrieked.

"And so do I!" Jade announced.

"Wow, Paige, I didn't know you dressed like that!" Seth added. "I like it."

"Thanks, you guys!" I responded as I heated up some Toaster Strudels. I took them out, put the icing on and ate them.

When I finished breakfast, it was 10:15. I helped clean up a little bit just before the rush of adopters came in. We all stood in a line and were interviewed by each one with questions like "What do you enjoy doing?" And "Why do you want to be adopted?".

At noon, Jade, Ayla and Dylan had all been adopted. They hugged us before they left. I guess adopters don't come here often.

"When was the last time adopters were here?" I asked Seth.

"Two years ago." He responded. "I didn't get chosen, hopefully that doesn't happen again!"

By 2 pm, everyone except for me had been adopted. I said goodbye to them all and sat down on the couch where me and Seth had played GTA not even 24 hours ago. I cried at the thought that I had parents 24 days ago, now they're gone and I'm sitting in a foster care home, alone. Well, except for Anna.

"Will you adopt me?" I asked Anna just as the doorbell rang.

"Well, the adoption service booked adopting til 4 so just wait and see." She said, heading towards the door. A few moments later, I heard her bells clicking, followed by other footsteps.

"Is she still here?" An Australian accent asked.

"Yep!" Anna said, coming into view. There were four tall, handsome young guys standing behind her. I instantly recognized the as 5 Seconds of Summer.

"Umm, hi." I said quietly.

"Paige, these boys have come to adopt you!" Anna said. "Shall I introduce them?"

"I shook my head with a small smile. "I already know."

"Well, then. How about you pack up?" Calum said.

"Yeah, we have a plane to catch." Michael added with a smile.

"In three hours, so no rush." Ashton said.

"O-okay." I stammered, standing up and heading upstairs to pack.
