As I finished my video that I was recording almost the whole day, I made sure that it was perfectly managed, and I quickly posted it on YouTube.
It was late in the evening, but luckily, I had no school the following day since it was Saturday.
The views of my video started increasing along with the comments and likes. I’d always been trying to answer to all of them, and I was pretty successful in that one. People on the internet seemed to love my videos and everything I’d been doing, opposite of the people in my school, who were mocking me constantly.
My belly protested, warning me that it needed some food to be satisfied. I headed into the kitchen, bringing a big bowl with popcorns with me. I made myself comfortable on my cosy bed, while holding the laptop on my lap.
I played my favourite music, and kept enjoying the rest of the night.
Mostly, I was replying to all of the sweet comments, when I noticed something strange buzzing near me. In the first place I freaked the fuck out, but then I chilled when I realised it was only my stupid phone, which I set on vibrate mode.
-Fuck off!
I yelled in annoyance, for it didn’t want to stop buzzing.
-Yahh!
My voice sounded irritated, when I finally picked up the line.
-Jade?
A male voice was heard, and got me utterly befuddled. Thinking whether I should reply or not, I checked the number once again, concluding that it was utterly unknown to me.
-Who’s that?
I declared with a cracked voice, sarcastically.
-The one who loves your videos the most!
He spoke again, and it was when it hit me.
-Calum!
I croaked loudly, almost jumping on my bed from happiness. I put my laptop aside, focusing only on my conversation with Calum.
-Hah, yeah Jade. I’m back in the town again, and it would be nice if we meet up. Hmm, what do you think?
He suggested, while I was already screaming internally, like a freak.
-Oh Calum, that sounds enticing, I mean, no, I mean interesting.
Jesus fuck! I cussed to myself.
I basically face palmed myself for being suck a goofy dude. But when I heard Calum laughing frisky through the line, I blushed even more, I thanked God that he couldn’t see me.
-So, pretty lady, where do you want me to wait for you?
He asked with such a provocative tone that I swooned back on my bed.
HE CALLED ME A PRETTY LADY! My joy couldn’t be bigger, I wanted to scream my ass out so bad.
-You can actually come over to my place.
FUCK, FUCK, FUCK!! How bold I was to dare ask him something like that.
-If you want, of course.
I continued, while rolling like an insane on the bed, spilling the popcorns all over it.
-Sounds like a great idea, I’m there in a minute.
Calum announced giggling slightly, when I was feeling far from smiling.
CRAP!
It was actually happening, he was going to come over to my place, where I lived.
A wave of goosebumps went throughout my body, when I finally pulled myself together.
-Yeah, so, hah, see you then.
My voice couldn’t sound more worse and obvious. However, I wasn’t able to fix that, so I distracted myself with cleaning the mess I made on my bed, while waiting for Calum to hang up.
-Is that Iggy Azelea singing in the background?
Calum suddenly asked, sounding a bit appalled.
I immediately froze on the spot, not knowing what to say. What if he didn’t like her, and he started hating me. I would never forgive myself if he hated me for such a stupid reason. But he wasn’t a person who would hate you because you were listening to someone who he didn’t like. Perhaps he changed. Even though we hadn’t seen each other for two months we were texting and stuff, I would’ve noticed if he had really changed.
-Mhmm. Why?
I hummed in fear of his next render.
-No, just asking, I thought I heard her voice so I just wondered.
Holy mother of Jesus, he doesn’t hate me! I whispered lowly to myself, making sure that he didn’t hear me.
-Well, yeah, it was her.
-Okay, I’m on my way, see you in a few.
Calum uttered, hanging up the line.
Rapidly, I picked up the popcorns, straightening the sheets on my bed. I shot a glare in the mirror, since I didn’t want to look like a mess and scare him.
Soon, the ring bell was heard, and I rushed to open the door.
-Oh, you’re so fast, I mean, you arr..
And so, I was interrupted by Calum, who pulled me in his embrace.
-I missed you so much.
He mumbled, squeezing me closer in the hug. I closed my eyes, enjoying being that close to him, enjoying his scent, and his voice being heard live.
When he eventually let me out of our romantic hug, we aimed towards my bedroom. His hand, slowly but safely sneaked around my waist, and my cheeks turned red instantly.
-Jade?
Calum poked me playfully when we made in my room, and I snapped, beaming straight before him.
I cocked my head on the side, peering directly into his beautiful eyes that made me fall in love every time I looked at them.
I nodded approvingly, so he could go on and say what he planned to.
Suddenly, his hand drifted upwards, resting on my burning red cheek. His every action was extremely surprising me, I didn’t know what to expect.
-Would you want to be my girl?
He smirked carefully, as I almost choked myself. It was impossible to explain how I felt in that moment, just perfect, I wished he had asked me that question a long time ago.
-Well, yeaaah.h.h.
I murmured out of breath since Calum took it away from me.
All of a sudden his lips met mine, and I felt explosions inside my stomach, erupting, making me go nuts and crave for more.
The feeling he was giving me, I’d never felt in my life before it was an alien strange one.
I loved every second of our kiss, his lips were so gentle and soft against mine, slowly moving in synch.
-Wow, Calum.
I unwillingly pulled away, gasping for air, completely overwhelmed by the sensation.
He grinned shyly, what surprised me a lot, and leaned his forehead against mine.
-Now, you can show me your skills on your 24 instruments, all night long.
We both chuckled loudly, walking towards the bed.
